Ever since then, the color of blue entrance me. The color seems to be vast and free, something I never had back then. I was always caught, stuck, and the ground became my friend as I run around towards safety. But then I realized, safety's not what I need.

Freedom.

And now that I'm living in the sea, I'm felt more free than I ever felt.

After looking for Ivan, Katerina, and Natalia on land for two years, I was caught by the pirates.

At that time, I knew that they're not anywhere in the country, so I decided to hide inside a pirate ship since I don't have enough money to buy my seat on any ship. I was caught though, hiding and sleeping inside the crates, sometimes even stealing food and other necessities. I even discovered their stash of rum! That probably hinted me off. Pirates live for their alcohol.

Good thing that the captain's not that bad of a man, but crazy enough to be scary. He let me live and work for them as a cabin boy until we land on the next shore when they restock their goods. So work hard I did till I become a part of the crew. They helped me with a lot of things, like handling myself in a fight, even how to wield a sword and fire the guns and canons.  They told me how to tie the sails, even tried to teach me how to cook, but after I set the kitchen in the ship on fire, they never let me inside the kitchen again... Especially Marcus, our cook. So I became the surgeon instead!

They told me that I was like their feisty little brother, and the captain do think so too. They said that I'm their lucky charm, because ever since they've caught me, there's lesser death and injuries, and the ships that they have been plundering was filled with goods.

Living in the sea is a dream come true.

Then there's this ship that carries crafts and books about magic, which belonged to merchants who knows how to perform magics. The Captain surprised me when he gave all the loots concerning with magic to me. I'm not aware that he knows about my ability, so I asked him about it and told me that it was our little secret.

Then one day, he told me to make the plundering easier with my ability.

"Surprise us, brat." He whispered to me before he announced to the crew that I'll do some performance to celebrate my first ship. My first plunder as the First Mate.

So surprise them I did. If I was the same Ignatius back then, no doubt, I would hesitate, but living with them made me stronger and egoistic.

I called a storm upon the said ship, weakening them before we attack. We attacked after that, and it sure was a great experience!

I've learnt most of things on that ship, with that crew, in the vast mysterious blue sea. This life is a great discovery, a great treasure. I remembered what the Captain told me on his wedding day.

"You'll lose some, but surely, you'll get some." He's hammered and drunk that time, dancing his drunk arse with his wedded wife, his Quartermaster.

They decided to get married after the last pillaging. Martha, our Quartermaster almost died, leading to the Captain's out of the blue proposal. They got married months after, and after the ceremony, they announced that they're settling down at our next stop, which is at their homeland, deciding that I'll become the new Captain of Brittanica.

At first, I thought it was a drunk joke, but when the morning came, they all voted me for the position. Of course I can't say no to that! It's a great honour to rule and serve this ship!

It has been two years now, and so far, for five years, I haven't found Ivan and his sisters yet. Brittanica is currently well known and feared in the whole seven seas for being ruthless, majestic, and dangerous like the feared sirens in the sea.

"Captain! Ship on sight." Steve, my Quartermaster, informed me. "And it's waving a black flag."

"Let Old Rogger fly high and wave them goodbye then." I faced the crew as I stood proud above them, calling their attention. "Ready your guns and cutlass, mates! Let this ship know that they're barking at the wrong tree!"

They hollered with approval as I ready my own weapons and spells. Watching their feral grins grow on their faces as they went to each of their own positions.

Most of the crew's still here, but some of them left like the old Captain for a more peaceful life, and some of them died in duty. Brittanica never changed though. It even grew better.

The fight started, you could hear firing everywhere as smoke from gunpowders swirls around the ship as everyone hustle and bustle. The excitement all over the air, especially when we conquer the other ship.

Knocking a man of and taking its life's pretty normal for me now. Unlike before, the mere thought of hurting someone makes me cringe. So it never unnerve nor bother me whenever I point the gun towards who ever it'll be. The mere thought of pointing my gun to this man never occurred to me, so imagine my surprise when my gun met his head as his met mine.

"...Andrew?!"

"That's Captain Kirkland for you, brat." He gave me a playful smirk, emotions running wild in his eyes. I returned the gesture with a grin as I knock his gun off from his hand with my sheathed cutlass.

"That's Captain Ignatius for you, eejit." I unsheathed my cutlass and point it towards him as he did the same. "Nice seeing you again, dear brother."

HAPPY NEW YEAR, MATES!!!
I'm pretty out of it so, sorry for the short update.I doubt this one even makes sense, but make do for now. I need to finish Iggy's kiddie adventures before I let him meet with Alfred.

I'm not really well versed with this piratey thingy, so my only references is the net.

By ranking, the Captain is the highest, followed by the Quartermaster as the co-pirate, and then First Mate as a Lieutenant. If it's wrong or something, let me know so I can do something about it.

And lemme dedicate this update to @Percy_Dane_America for being awesome, thanks for the support dude! Happy new year!

"I don't own Hetalia, only the same bushy brows with Iggy. This is fanfictional writing, so the events are clearly not true, so if ever a same event took place, I am certain that it's just a coincidence. If a same plot is found, it is another coincidence to enjoy, but if it has the same lines and words with the exactly same plot, please let me know the details. Though I doubt such a thing would happen. My grammar is too crappy in the first place, so who would bother. Right?

Andd, I'm apologizing for typos and wrong grammar. I'll do my best to improve."

See ya'll next chapter, bearlings!
