Jenna's POV

Before I knew it, my first day ended as I walked out of the giant ornate school gates. I heaved a sigh of relief as I sat in the bus. Today was good, if I skip the encounters with Michael and the gang. They were so scary, it felt like they didn't belong here. Also, what troubled me with the most was the gun in Luke's pocket. After seeing his personality all chances of it being a toy gun are gone. It was a real gun. The type of gun that could take your breath away in the pull of a small trigger.

I shuddered at the thought as the bus stopped near my house and I walked towards my house. Why were they always troubling me? It's not like I did anything to them. And the 'Meet me in the field' threat was so cliché! I rolled my eyes as I opened the front door and dumping my bag on the couch, walked towards the kitchen.

"Mom!" I shouted but silence greeted me as I looked at the empty kitchen. I glanced at my wrist-watch and realized that Mom would be at work. She would come only after two hours. Stupid me!

I opened the refrigerator and took out some chocolate ice-cream because my stomach was beginning to growl like a whale. I hopped down on the couch with my ice-cream and flipped through the channels on the TV and finally settled on watching some fashion shows because the outfits looked really cool. And weird. Models after models strutted down the ramp as I shoved spoonfuls of ice-cream in my mouth. A skinny model came wearing a ruffled gown which swept the floor as she walked.

What a gown!

Gown? Gown.

GOWN!!!

I jumped up from the couch as I realized something. I need a gown. Or a dress. I don't have anything to wear for Fresher's Party! And it's tomorrow! And I said yes! I shoved the ice-cream inside my mouth as my teeth went numb and I looked at the time. It was 4 p.m. Sigh.

I still have enough time to buy a dress for tomorrow. Why was I worrying? I sat back again on the couch cross-legged and changed the channel. Stupid model. Made me worry unnecessarily. I kept the empty bowl on the table and laid on the couch, supporting my head with my hand and flipped through the channels.

Yay! Doctor Who!

5 hours later.....

"Jenna! Jenna!" I felt someone shaking me and I slowly yawned and opened my eyes. I was sprawled on the couch and a blanket was covering me. My Mom was smiling down at me as I tried to remember in what century I was. Yeah I was home. It had finished my first day in California. Michael and his gang. Alec. And the Fresher's Party.

THE FRESHER'S PARTY!!!

I got up with a start as the blanket fell on the floor and Mom looked at me with a confused expression on her face. I stood up and ran my hands through my hair. Ugh.

"What time is it?" I asked Mom and she said,"It's 9:10 p.m....why?"

"What?" I looked at her, begging her to tell me that she was joking and it was really just 5 or something. But her confused expression conveyed otherwise.

"Mom! Don't tell me I've been sleeping for 5 hours! Why didn't you wake me up?" I said as I grabbed my hair in my hands and let out a frustrated sigh.

"Why honey, what's wrong?" Mom caught me by the shoulders and asked me in her motherly voice.

"Mom, I have to go this Fresher's Party in our school tomorrow and I was planning on going shopping after taking a nap but........" I trailed off as I realized the importance of the time I had lost. But Mom's face turned up into a smile as she looked at me, her eyes twinkling.

"C'mon, I just have the perfect thing for you!" She said as she dragged me by my hand upstairs and into her room.

"Mom, what.....?" I said as we entered her room.

"Sit." She motioned me towards the bed and picked up a bag from her closet. I watched her with a confused expression as she handed me the bag.

"Mom, what's this?" I took the bag from her hands and ran my hands over the velvety cover. It looked really expensive.

"Open it." She said as she grinned down at me. And I did open it.

And my eyes came out of my sockets as I gaped at the beauty in front of me.

"Mom! It's beautiful! Where did you get it?" I said as I got up and putting the dress in front of me, twirled it. It was a beautiful dress. And by beautiful, I mean the kind of dress that you would like to pass on to your daughter and her daughter. And her daughter. It was so classy and timeless.

The dress was a minty color and it reached down the floor. The fabric was soft and it flowed all around. It had a sweetheart neckline with beading above the neckline and it also acted as a sleeve. It was so beautiful. It was just the kind of dress I wanted. It was modest and stylish in its own way without being too revealing. And did I say I loved the color?

"You know, working in a fashion house has its advantages." I grinned at my Mom and keeping the dress on the bed, wrapped my arms around her and hugged her. I loved my Mom. She fulfilled my every need before I could say it. She was the best Mom I could ask for. I silently thanked God for her.

We pulled apart and she grinned at me. I took the dress and keeping it back in the box, put it back in the bag.

"Let me keep it in my room." I said and I hugged her again with a 'I love you' and walked out off the room.

"Come down for dinner once you are done admiring the dress!" Mom called after me and I smiled as I entered my room and kept the dress safely in my closet.

Michael's POV

We were seated around a table that contained numerous papers and pictures related to Jenna. I blew out a huge puff of smoke as Luke poured whiskey for all of us and handed one to me. I took it and then looked at everyone. Calum, Ashton and Luke were all waiting for me to proceed.

"So, Ashton what have you got?" I asked as I drank and Ashton searched through the papers and took out a file.

"Everything about Jenna." He smirked as he handed me the file. I opened the file and a smiling picture of Jenna, probably taken from her Instagram or Facebook, greeted me. Her hair was open and she was smiling at the camera. Underneath, in Ashton's ineligible handwriting , was written JENNIFER STEPHENSON. I flipped the page and read the full bio of Jenna. She lived with her mother who worked in a fashion house. Her father and brother had died in a car accident when she was only 4 years old. Her star sign was Scorpio. Her birthday was on 15th of November. She was 17 years old.......

I smirked as I flipped through the pages and read through all the data about her and even about some of her friends. Who was this fucking William who had his arm around Jenna's shoulder? I flipped the page angrily and smiled as I came across a photo of Jenna with a girl, making a really stupid face at the camera.

"These are the passes." I looked up as Luke threw four passes on the table. I nodded at him and then keeping the file back, looked at Calum. He picked up four bags from the floor and said, "Our dresses for the party."

"Don't say 'dresses'! It sounds like we are going to wear gowns or something!" Luke said and Calum pulled out his tongue at him.

"Where is the most important material?" I asked and Ashton picked up a black duffel bag and zipped it open. I peered down and saw all the materials. Duct tapes, chloroform, injections, handkerchiefs and ropes.

"Good work, guys! Now we just have to wait for tomorrow!" I said and we all high-fived.
