Michael's POV
"It's like she has started her own Non Co-operation Movement in this house! She is being so fucking childish!" I slammed my hand on the dining table and the utensils jumped up by 2.32 cms. We were all eating our dinner, cooked by Luke, which was hardly digestable. I think someone should tell me that he can't cook but I know he will pout and pretend to cry. That's him. Suprisingly, he seemed to enjoy his food. Maybe God just gave him different taste buds. Sigh.
Where was Jenna? That childish stubborn girl was in her room, refusing to eat. Again.
"Yeah, Mikey. She hadn't eaten a single bite the whole day. I think she'll fall sick if she continues this." Luke said while slurping on some noodles, a part of his Chinese dinner today.
"We've tried everything! She just snaps at us if we try to go near her or gives us the cold shoulder! Doesn't she feel hungry?" Ashton twisted his noodles in his fork absent-mindedly.
"Maybe she has a jar of chocolates under her bed that she must be eating right now! That's why she doesn't feel hungry!" Calum said, clicking his fingers at us and we all turned towards him to give him the look.
"What? Anything can be possible!" He said in response to our reactions and Ashton slapped him on the back of his head playfully while I heaved a sigh as Luke resumed slurping his noodles.
Jenna, why do you have to be so fucking difficult?
Another slam on the table and the utensils jumped up by 2.5 cm.
Yay.
Jenna's POV
I huffed and crossed my arms over my chest as I heard the sound of laughter coming from downstairs. My stomach made a low growling sound and I gulped my own saliva. I was hungry if you hadn't already noted. I was so hungry that I had the considered eating the bedsheets and pillows that have been put for my 'comfort'. I leaned my head back on the headboard as another growling sound came followed by a hiccup. Yes, I was also refusing to drink water in that pig house.
Ugh.
"Enough of your drama, eat your food!" I turned my head towards the door and saw Michael balancing a bowl of noodles, a plate of sushis and a glass of water on his two hands. I huffed and turned my head while he kept the plates on the bedside table.
"I told you already that I am not hungry and I don't want to eat!" I said through gritted teeth.
"Yeah. That is so evident by the growling in your stomach." He smiled sweetly as he sat down in front of me on the bed. I rolled my eyes and turned the other way.
"Oh come on, Jenna. Why are you behaving like this? If you hadn't tried to escape, you wouldn't have been betrayed by Ian!" He said, his voice rising a little.
"Oh! So it's my fault now? Wow. You all are impossible. I am kidnapped by four stupid guys and when I try to escape, I meet a guy who promises to take me home and at the end, it turns out that he was a friend of the kidnappers. Oh, my fault is so crystal clear to me." I smiled back sweetly at him and then huffed loudly.
"Fine! Be that way. Don't eat your food. Don't drink anything. And when you'll fall sick and faint, I won't be there to catch you!" He yelled and slamming the glass on the table, stomped out of the room.
Well, I was not going to have him the last word.
"I don't need your care, you understand?" I yelled after him and went over and slammed the door extra-loudly.
I sat cross-legged on the bed and stared at the food kept on the table as my stomach gave a low growl. I gulped and looked towards the door to see if anyone was coming. I tried to ignore the food but well, that is quite impossible when you have a huge whale inside your stomach.
After some minutes, I kept the empty bowl and plate on the table and gulped down the water. It felt so good to something. My stomach gave a satisfied burp as I laid down on the bed and tried to go to sleep.
IN THE MORNING.....
"Ha! I told you nobody can resist Chinese cooked by me! Even stubborn little Jenna!" I rolled over to my other side to block Luke's voice.
"Yeah. Of course. Jenna! Wake up!" Michael said and I could feel him rolling his eyes as he tugged at my blanket and I grabbed it and tried to cover myself with it.
"Waaakkkkeeee Upppppppp, Jennnnnaaaa! It's almost eleveeennnnn nowww!" Calum said in an annoying high-pitched sing-song voice that irritated me more than the constant tugging on my blanket by Michael.
"Fine. Let's leave her alone." I heard their footsteps slowly fading away and heaved a sigh of relief. Finally gone.
SPLASH!
I jumped up spluttering and spewing water from my mouth as I looked down at my drenched self and then the grinning faces of Calum and Luke. They both had a jug in their hands which contained water until a few moments ago when it was so cruelly splashed on me.
"WHAT THE FISH!" I yelled as I tried to drain the water from my eyes and I glared at them even more when I heard them laughing.
"What the fish?! She said....Did you hear, Calum?" Luke said as he kept the jug while clutching his stomach and laughing.
"Yeah! I heard...but...still working on believing!" Calum said in between peals of laughter and I gritted my teeth as I got up from the bed.
"You don't know how to say 'What the Fuck'?" Luke said, trying to control his laughter while I made a 'eewww' sound when he said the 'f word'. This caused him to laugh even more and as I started stomping away, I felt a strong grip on my arm as Calum pulled me closer.
"I could teach you somebody....how to say 'fish'." He whispered in my ear and using all my strength and gritting my teeth, I stomped my foot on his and he released me with a yelp.
"No Thank you." I said and crossing my arms over my chest, stomped my way out of the room. I hate everyone in California. Where's Ashton? He seems like the one with whom I can have a good conversation with, which includes no yelling or shouting. I should probably change my clothes but since it was sweltering, it felt pretty good. Maybe I'll ask Ashton for some of his clothes. I know he'll give them to me without any snide remarks.
I went down the stairs, looking for Ashton and that's when I saw him. And Michael. In the living room. With someone else.
"Oh, I see, you're back." I said, sneering at him.
