By the next morning, I had forgotten about everything. Temporarily  because of the cruise I was so exited about. Plus we were going to Florida. I've always wanted to visit there. I ate my breakfast and lunch as quickly as I could, took my luggage and started running out the door. Sally and Grandpa followed. She didn't seem to mind my hastiness. Grandpa had already paid for the cruise we were going to go on, and boy was it a sight. It wasn't the biggest, but it was still gigantic. As I walked closer, I noticed someone familiar. It was that girl on the plane! She was wearing the same shirt, but it was red. Her skirt was plain black, and she wasn't wearing a bracelet. She had a black headband on, and the same ponytail. I really admired her looks. Anyone could've fallen for her; someone with perfect skin.
I guess she had the same exact stop, although I didn't notice her alighting the plane. But we were one of the first to get off, because I couldn't wait to get to our hotel; so I guess she got off after us. It was strange to see her twice. I don't think she saw me, but I sure recognized her. Then I noticed her going towards where we were going. She was getting in the same cruise as us. What a coincidence! First the same plane, then the same stop, and now the same cruise, at the same time?
"What are you doing, Page? Hurry up." Sally rushed me as I lingered my sight on her.
"Ok, I'm coming."
I couldn't wait to get on the cruise. And see my the room. I bet they'll look like the rooms on those luxury hotels.
"Sally, can we walk any faster? I just can't wait to get on that cruise."
"Don't rush, we'll get on it sooner or later."
"Well, I want to get on it sooner not later."
All of a sudden, someone from behind me bumped into me, and jerked me to the ground."
"Oh, I'm so so so sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you. Are you ok? I'm really, really sorry." She apologized.
"I'm fine. It was an accident. It's ok." I assured.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm definitely sure."
"Ok, that's really good. I'm so glad you're ok."
She really didn't have to apologize this much. She really cared if I'm ok or not. I wonder what she would've done if I said I wasn't ok.
"Hey, you going on that cruise over there?" She pointed to the same cruise as we were going on.
"Yup. You are too?"
"Yes. Yay, we're going on the same cruise. Maybe there, I can make up for bumping you like that."
"You really don't have to. It was just an accident. Besides, I'm fine. Don't worry about me like that. I know you didn't mean it." I said, irritated. I couldn't believe her. She was so impossible!
"Oh, come on. I'll make it up to you somehow, and when I do, you'll forget all about this incident."
"Can we change the topic now?"
"Ok. Which room do you want to stay in?"
"I thought you don't choose."
"Really? I thought you do chose."
"Well, we can figure that out the faster we get on that cruise."
"I'll race you."
"You're on." I said, while starting to run as fast as I could. That cruise wasn't going to wait for me forever. I couldn't wait to check out the view from the very top. But then again, maybe I won't be allowed to climb to the peak of the ship. I remembered that girl on the plane. You sure have a lot of energy. But she was wrong. The girl running beside me had a lot of energy.
"Never caught your name." She mentioned as she ran past me. She was fast.
"Page. What's your's?"
"I'm June, but some of them call me Joy."
I could guess why. She was always so happy and full of energy. By the way she made friends with me, I can't imagine how many friends she already has. Then I noticed someone calling me.
"Page! Stick together!"
I turned around and saw Sally holding up a ticket. I guess it was mine. But before I could stop, the person who's supposed to take our tickets for the cruise blocked my way.
"Why're ya in such a rush?" She asked, while stretching out her arm and motioning me to stop. Sally handed her the tickets for all three of us. Then she let us pass.
"Don't run off like that. Why did you? Who were you running from?"
"I was racing Joy."
"Who's she?"
"A new friend I bumped into."
"That's nice. Just let me know where you're going to be." So she didn't completely not trust me. That was good news.
"Sure." I said, running into the ship where people were scattered about. Some were urging the captain to hurry up and start the cruise. He seemed perturbed by the people's lack of patience, yet he seemed impatiently waiting for the rest of the riders to board, himself.
"Hey come on." Joy notified. "Let's explore."
"I don't think we can." I said , my eye being caught by the prodigious sunset. Joy noticed it too, then, before I could tell her we can explore tomorrow, I was pulled away by Sally.
"Guess where we're staying." Sally said excitedly. She was urged to tell me. It wasn't like we were staying in a mansion.
"Ok, fine. Il tell you." She finally said, and let go of her urge. It ended up that we were staying on the top level! The top layer of the cruise was definitely the best, holding an enormous view and all. This was actually better than staying in a palace or mansion or whatever. I couldn't wait to brag about this to Joy.
