Part Three for YagirlTaylor

"You ready, Taylor?" Billy asked me as we stepped out of the surfboard shop holding two surfboards. We decided against the jet ski because I didn't want him to spend extra money on something we probably weren't even going to use.

"I'm a little nervous," I honestly said. He looked down at me with a sincere smile and clutched my hand tighter.

"Well, there's no need to be, because I'll be right there next to you," Billy said with a smile that reassured me and I knew that I would be just fine.

"Alright, let's hit the water!" I stuttered as I tugged him towards the ocean. We lined up our boards, placing them on the sand and started to swim out into the ocean, going deeper and deeper.

"Do you see that wave coming in? It's perfect!" he shouted my direction, pointing out a monster wave coming at us.

"Woah, Th...th...that's a big wave, Billy. I don't know if I'm ready for a monster like that. You know I'm not as good of a surfer as you," I told him, sounding very concerned.

"Oh, It's not that big. I'll stay close, you'll be fine. You've got this, Tay," he reassured me.

"Ok, let's do this," I shouted and paddled out towards the wave. I knew at that point there was no turning back. I was surfing that wave. I was pretty confident that I'd be fine. Turns out, I was wrong.
