Never Chapter 17

I lay there.

No movement.

Numbing pain.

My heart ached.

It's been a couple of days maybe weeks.

Since Zayn's and I break up.

I couldn't talk to anyone about it. Ruby was gone. Now Zayn is gone.

my dreams turned to nightmares.

That felt so real.

Once in a while when I walked by my window Zayn would be sitting by his window staring at me.

He went out more often. Everyday at 2 am I'd hear is motorcycle roar.

He's called me. Everyone in the gang. Asking me why I did it.

Conway hasn't stop by to tell me good job.

I haven't opened my files of my father. I sometimes just stare at it.

But then I finally picked it up.

Rick James Seblime. I guess that'd what his name was.

I hear the doorbell ring.

I opened it he hugs me. This man hugs me. I dont even know him.

''Ummm..''

''Sorry Abby. Wow you haven't changed a bit!''

''ohh.''

''What? You seem to not remember you dad?''

I look at him blankly.

''Sir I forgot to tell you..'' I heard a voice near. I heavenly voice. it was Zayn.

''Abby lost her memory.'' He broke out.

'What how!'' my dad said.

''May we come in.'' Zayn asked.

I nodded.

Zayn told my dad the whole story.

''Sorry sir. I tried to protect her but-''

''Zayn I know you. You love Abby. I know you'd never try to do that.'' My dad said in pain.

What he said stabbed my repeatedly.

''Ruby said you could help...''I spoke

''Did she? Yeah of course.''

We had small talk. An my dad said he had to leave but he'd come back.

Me and Zayn sit in the living room with not sound.

I could feel his gaze at me.

''Did you even feel pain for what you said to me?'' He spoke.

I was silent.

''You left because you were afraid someone else might get hurt. I tried to find your dad so he help! I want to help you cause I love you Abby! I fucking Love you! Does that mean anything to you anymore!''

''You mock my pain Zayn Malik! These were the worst fucking days of my life! It killed me each day! An you don't try to chase me. You just called!'' I said in tears.

''I did knock! Everyday!''

''I did this to protect you! Okay! Conway killed ruby as a warning!''

''Why!''

''I really don't know. He just wants you broken.''

We were silent.

''I can't bare to see you hurt Zayn. I can't be with you. That means You could die.'' I said.
