First Day Chapter 2

I wake up an look out my window. Zayn's house was across the street. He was already at the window looking at me. I shut the curtains embarrassingly. How long was he looking over at my window?

I got ready an was about to go out the door when I hear a motorcycle start again. I didn't want to see Zayn So I waited till he drove off. But His motorcycle was still on like he was waiting for me. But finally I heard him ride off. So then I got in the car an drove to the diner were I guess I now work at with Ruby.

As I park my car I see Zayn's motorcycle. Why won't he leave me alone. Thinking just because he said he was picking me up going to drive me to some party doesn't mean I would or will. He cannot and will not control me like that.

I walk and see Ruby's face light up. I guess she really wanted a friend. "Abby! You came.'' "well I needed a job and this place seems fun anyway we're friends so this will be fun." I say and she smiles. "Really. We are! Okay great. Here so do you know anything about waiting on others or anything.'' ''Well I worked at a waitress for a while back home. So yeah I know what to do.'' ''Okay go wait on table number five. Here is a chart of all the table numbers if you forget.'' ''Okay Thanks Ruby.'' She walks off into the back. As I go to table number five. I look up and see Zayn and four other guys. Shit Ruby why you let me take them. But I had to live with it. "Abby? You work here?'' Zayn said. I nod ''Umm Yeah.'' "ohh so this is Abby." a guy with brown hair and brown eyes and very cute. "How you know my name?'' I say. ''Well I have to because you know you are my date.'' Zayn winking at me.''i asked Ruby.'' I roll my eyes. "So what can I get for you?''

I could feel Zayn staring at me as I try to listen what his friends were trying to say. "okay so just a Pepsi for curly, a hamburger with fries for blondie, a nachos for loud guy, a sprite an nachos as well for smiley, and just a water for tattoos is that all?'' The guys chuckle at what I said about Zayn. They all nod then I walk off. I could feel Zayn mad an he didn't like that I called him that.

I put the list on the counter an Ruby walks over to me. ''Sorry I made you wait on his table. i should of.'' ''Oh no its fine. Maybe he' stop being around me if I kinda you know be kinda rude.'' ''Wait what do you mean?'' I tell Ruby and she looked at me shocked. ''Abby I'd be nice to Zayn. You can't drive Zayn off. If he wants something he'll get it.'' Ruby said. "Well maybe he'll end off not liking me. But why is he so bad?'' "You can ask him when you go on that date with him.'' ''You said he was bad news?'' ''I know my granny said that.But the way he looks at you its kinda cute. Maybe you can help whatever is so bad about him?'' ''Maybe.''

I grab their food and drinks and give them to them. As I walk off I feel a arm pull me back. ''My name is Zayn.'' he says close to my face we could almost kiss. I kinda felt scared but yet safe when I look into his eyes. He was looking at me long and hard so he knew I got. I nod "Oh-Okay Zayn.'' He smirks at me then winks then goes to his table.

I look over an Ruby was waiting a table she looked uncomfortable waiting she comes back an I stop her. "Hey how about I wait for those guys?'' "Abby no you faced your fear I'll face mine.'' ''Ruby I'm not scared of Zayn. I saw the way you looked over there. You dont like those guys I got it.'' ''Abby-'' But I walk over an give them their beers. ''Is that all?'' ''Wooh why hello dollface? You must be new around here. I'm Max.''

This Max guy was kinda creepy and his friend. ''Hi..Anything else.'' I said kinda rudely. "umm yes I'd like you? You free Saturday?'' he said putting his arm around my thighs. "Gross get away from me.'' I said pushing him away. ''Dollface come back here.'' he said grabbing my wrist. ''Let her go Max.'' i look over and I see Zayn. He looked mad he seemed not to fond of Max. "Or what what if she wants me huh Zayn? Right Dollface?'' I rolled my eyes "just go and let me go.'' ''Not until you say yes.'' I tried pulling him off.

Zayn walks up to him even closer. ''Let.....Her...Go.'' He lets me go.''I'll be back for you dollface,'' Zayn was about fight him but I stop him. I look at him "No Zayn. Please.'' He was still looking at Max then looks at him. I could see protection in his eyes an concerned about me. Then Max left ''Dollface, Baby I'll Come for you odnt worry.'' Zayn tenses up. I roll my eyes at Max an walk off. Then Max left.

I walk over to the counter. Ruby says "Are you okay? Abby I could of handled it.'' "Ruby know one got hurt. Don't beat yourself up.'' Then Zayn walks over to me an whispers "Why you let him touch you!?!'' "Zayn I didn't he did, I tried to stop and get away. But I couldn't.'' ''Why wouldn't you let me hurt him. He touched you!'' ''Zayn we don't need any fights on my first day on the job. Okay?'' I smiled letting him know its fine. ''But thanks for wh-what you did. It was sw-sweet.'' ''Well I'd do anything for you love.'' He smiles at me. Then he and his friends walk out.

I didn't know what to do or say. But only this I think Zayn just stole my heart.
