Emma sat on her bed on her laptop typing away at a English project she had to finish, Jade was asleep on her air mattress they had went out and got drunk the oats few days. And Emma was feeling fine, while Jade had the biggest hang over ever. When Emma glanced at the time one her computer she groaned and got up shoving her computer into her book bag  before getting up and making her way out her room, and down her stairs. She met Elena half way. It had been the first time shoe had sene née her sister since the mystic falls court thing.

"Hey..." She sounded confused "where have you been? You ditched last minutes for the court and I was worried" that was a lie and Emma knew that, because she had come home every night since that day and Elena was there, Jeremy said she was with Stefan, and either way Emma was getting drunk with Jade and doing their thing.

"Oh you mean where you stole my date, leaving me dateless?" She asked with sass laced in right voice as she gave an eye roll seeing Elena's confused and hurt expression slowly fade away and get replaced with one of realization. "Plus I've been here the whole time..." It wasn't a full lie, but it was enough to make Elena feel mor guilty, so with a twisted sarcastic smile, Emma pushed past her sister and left off to school. Today she wasn't in to mood for drama or figuring out her where abouts, she was in the mood to get work done.

Once again Emma was typing away at her computer as she sat in the lunch room full of student, they had to build floats for the mystic falls thing, another founding family event. She sat at a table with Tyler and Matt and students she had no idea existed, still typing away finishing her English assignment then moving in to the next one for a different class.

"These are the specs for the history departments, founders days float" Alaric said handing each student at the table a sheet of paper, dropping Emma's in her computer causing her to stop typing for a moment and  move it. "Were gonna be recreating the battle of willow creek. Tyler's been nominated head of the production design"

"By who?"'Tyler asked  not expecting to do anything but help build, but as of now he was in change of the whole thing. "By me" Alaric said "I've seen your sketches and they're good."

Tyler sighed "look I'm not really into the whole---"

"Yeah well joust pick your team, be creative..... And don't screw up" Alaric cut him off but trailed  off towards the end before dropping the papers on the http table and walking away. "Great" Tyler grumbled before leaning froward in hopes Matt or Emma would help him.

"Do you want to help me out with this?"

Matt looked up at Tyler with a serious look "not really, no" to which Tyler sighed and his eyes moved to Emma, who felt his stare and glanced his way for a second. "Yeah no. I'm busy" she said causing the boy to let out a groan have no other choice but to talk to the other people at the table.

Matt leaned over to see what Emma was doing, and was surprised to see she had just finished a twenty page English report. But he paused for a second before asking "are you okay? I heard about the whole miss mystic falls thing?" She glanced at him before she opened another assignment "I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?" she asked before going back to typing. "Well I don't know, you haven't answered my text" he said causing her to roll her he eyes with a sigh.
