You didn't tell anybody, but you and Levi pretty much grew up together. You knew each other when you were very young. "Remember the day when Secilia was freaking out because she saw a bug?" You swung your legs on Levi's desk as he worked.

"Yes." He said bluntly. He was doing his paperwork and you assumed he didn't want to be bothered so you stayed silent for a minute before speaking again.

"Hey... I'm sorry about yesterday. I know you hate it when when I do that but..." Your voice trailed off. Levi looked up at you and seemed to search for something, but then looked back down at his papers. "How long are you going to dwell in the past, (Y/N)?"

"Okay, okay! I'm leaving. Don't work too hard Levi, it's getting late." You put your hand on the door handle and looked back at him, but he didn't respond.

-

You were walking your horse around for some exercise when you saw a figure cross your vision. "Hey! What are you doing here?" You hopped on your horse without a saddle on and trotted over to the person.

"What do you think you're doing?" You pulled the hood off their head.

"(Y/N)?"

"...Secilia?!"

-

You stood outside Erwin's office waiting for him to finish up with Secilia. Your life long friend, and the one you and Levi went on adventures with. You tapped your foot impatiently until the door opened and Secilia stepped out with a smiled spread across her face.

"I can't believe you came back!" You hugged her. "Levi's here too, and I..." You were at a loss of words.

"It's been so long (Y/N)! I've kinda been searching for you guys after a couple years but when I heard Riva was in the Scouts, I came to find him, but finding you is way better." She grabbed your hand.

"Common, I bet your hungry." You led her too the mess hall where you introduced her to all of your friends.

She was having a great time and when Levi finally came in, he froze. "Secilia...?" He breathed. She turned around and smiled even wider.

"Riva!" She squealed and ran into his arms. "It's been years!" She laughs and he slowly wraps his arms around her.

"More like 12." You come and put your hand on her shoulder. You three didn't notice that you were making a scene, but you didn't care. You were with your friends and that's all the was the light in this cruel dark world.

-

The three of you decided to catch up on the roof where the stars seemed to shine brighter that night. "Where in the walls have you been?" You laughed.

"Oh just killing time. Working hard, getting money..."

"Stealing." Levi corrected her. Back when you were younger, you were always the distraction while Levi and Secilia did the stealing.

"Its harder to steal stuff without (Y/N) distracting everyone! She got really good at it too." Secilia giggled.

"Yeah, well now my talent's going to waste by seducing boys into being polite." You sighed.

"That or sneaking away from training to go draw some dumb-ass trees." Levi added, shaking his head and smiling.

"It was one time!"

"Knowing you it might have been ten!" Secilia kept laughing to the point of where she couldn't breathe. Her laugh was always contagious and soon you and Levi started laughing too.

"Hey Riva... Have you seen it on expeditions lately?" She asked him a serious question. Levi stared at her for what seemed like the longest time until he finally said something.

"No." He unwrinkled his jacket. 'You're lying.' You narrowed your eyes but said nothing. Levi always felt the need to fix his clothes when he's lying. All three of you looked up into the starry sky... Looking up into eternity.
