Some Secrets Gone

The door opened at some time in the middle of the night, your eyelids flew open and you jumped out of Levi's bed, knife in hand and stood in front of the assailant.

"(Y/N)! Jumpy much?" Secilia hissed, backing up a little. You let your arms fall to your sides and stood up fully, sighing.

"Sorry. Someone poisoned Levi and we suspected they would try to kill him in the middle of the night... So what are you doing here?" You raised an eyebrow at her.

She glanced at Levi and whispered to you: "Is he asleep?" You looked back at Levi, lightly touching his eyelids, and you turned back to Secilia and nodded.

"I... I'm in love with Levi... I mean, this wouldn't be any news to you because you don't like him... Right?" She whispers again.

Your eyes widened and you were taken aback. 'Cilia likes him too?! But... Why?' In order to investigate further, you lied.

"No. We're just friends, it's always been that way." You crossed your arms. "Look, I've got to be alert for the person that poisoned him so I've got to get back to bed." You jerked your thumb behind you.

"Yeah... Goodnight. See you tomorrow." She waved and lightly shut the door behind her. You sat on the bed, your back to Levi and placed your head in your hands.

"(Y/N)... You lied to her... twice. That's not like you." Levi mumbled behind you. You gasped and turned to him, teary-eyed.

"What...? I only lied to her about you being asleep. I cou-" Levi silenced you by pressing his lips to yours, his hand holding you in place by resting on the back of your neck.

It took you a second to process all of this, but you kissed him back. 'We've been friends for almost 10 years... This is okay right?'

And almost as if he read your mind, Levi pulled away and answered your question. "It's okay if you want it to be." And he laid back down, falling asleep.

Nobody came back into Levi's room again, but as usual, he was gone before you woke up. You skipped breakfast, not knowing how to deal with what just happened last night.

You sat on the windowsill, drawing the early morning landscape, careful not to fall 15 meters to your doom.

When you went out for training, you saw Secilia fighting Levi, being friendly and what-not so you smiled and waved to them. Secilia waved back, but Levi just stared at you, not moving his arms at all. Frowning, you returned your attention to Bertolt Hoover, who was currently on his back.

"You left you leg wide open." You placed your hands on the back of your head.

"Yeah, but you cheated with those freaky foot powers." He winced. Suddenly your knee was on his Adam's apple pressing lightly.

"What did you say I was?"

He was choking on the account of your knee. "Strong...!" He croaked begging you to get off of him. You stood up and dusted yourself off then put your shoes back on.

You walked back into HQ to grab your 3DM gear, and practiced killing Titans by yourself... The best way to practice. As you flew threw the air, you threw away all your secrets, forgetting all your lies.
