Unobtainable (An Emison Story)

Chapter 13

Emily's POV

"Yeah Emily, what is so funny?!" Alison asked.

I playful rolled my eyes at Alison, "I just remembered something funny I saw earlier, with this super jealous little girl." I answered while discreetly making eye contact with her basically letting her know I caught her.

"You know, now that I think of it I think I saw that little girl too... Yeah I saw that little girl too. Although, I don't think she was jealous, I think she was just being curious and overprotective."

I raised my hands in defense "Whatever you say Alison." I smirked at her, while everyone carried on with their meaningless conversation.

-BUZZ BUZZ-

I pulled out my phone and saw that I had a text from Caleb, before opening it I looked at Caleb confused as to why he texted me if we're literally in the same room. He mouths to open it so I do.

Caleb 👫🖥🕶: Get up and let Toby sit, then you sit on him and Cece will sit on you. It will be hilarious to watch Alison's face😂

Okay Caleb is SO weird but whatever

"Hey do you mind getting up real quick?" I whispered to Cece.

She gets up and so do I, "Hey Tobs sit down." Cece glared at me and whined, "But I was so comfortable!"

"No it's fine, you guys sit back down. I'm perfectly fine standing up." Toby replied.

"Tobs just sit down pleaseeee!"

"Okayyy, I guess" I looked over and saw Alison on her phone and Caleb smirking. I grabbed Cece's wrist and dragged her over to Toby. I sat on Toby and pulled Cece on me. Caleb, Hanna, Toby, Cece, and I just bursted out laughing. Caleb and I immediately turned to observe Alison expression and surprisingly she was on her phone.

"Guys it's time to go!" Alison hastily stood up and slipped on her jacket with ease.

Cece got off of me, "Thank goodness you weren't having fun with us and reminded us or else I would've completely forgotten."

"Ha, funny." Alison replied sarcastically while she gave Cece a fake smile. I could feel an argument coming on so I tried to tune them out and snuggle more into Toby's warm body.

"I love my Tobs you are always so warm and comfy" I whispered into his chest.

"Aww I love my Emmy Wemmy too!" Toby said while peppering my head with kisses.

-BUZZ BUZZ-

I check my phone and of course it's Caleb. Again.

Caleb👫🖥🕶: Guess who's rolling their eyes!?

I look up and see Alison's face stuck in her phone again, ok now I'm really confused. Is Caleb hallucinating or is he just trying to messing with me. I was curious so I decided to reply back.

Me: Who?

-BUZZ BUZZ-

Caleb👫🖥🕶: Whoops to late😝, guess you'll never know! 😏

Ugh I hate it when Caleb teases me. I stick my tongue out at him and he does the same thing back but this time I act like I'm extremely shocked and offended. He just starts laughing, until Cece intrudes our strange wordless conversation that only we understand.

"So, what do you say Em?" Cece asked with a hopeful smile on her face.

"Sorry what was the question again, sorryi was distracted by CALEB."

"Listen, you dummy." Aria answered, "We want to know if you and the boys would care to tag along with us to the movies."

"Aw anything for my little baby Aria!" I exclaimed excitedly while I went up to her and started squeezing her cute cheeks.

"Em stop it" Aria giggled at me while she attempted to put her hands on my forearms, to unsuccessfully try to push my hands away.

I finally let go, "So what do you say boys, wanna tag along?" I asked.

"Only if I get to sit next to Hanna" Caleb was quick to respond then he winked at Hanna and the silly blonde blushed. I can't help but stop the smile that spreads when these two flirt.

"Tobs?" I turned to Toby.

"Yeah totally I'm in!" He responded while eyeing Spencer who's eyes were glued to her book.

At the movie theater

After comparing what songs were played and which songs were skipped, we finally arrived at the movie theater. We parked right next to Spencer's black Toyota Highlander Hybrid.

"So what movie are we watching?" I questioned mischievously.

Caleb quickly caught on and tried to signal the girls into not telling me but they didn't find any harm in my question so Hanna said, "Krampus"

"Ooo great movie to get us into the upcoming holiday spirt!" I exclaimed sarcastically.

"Oh right, I almost forgot we have finals week, then winter break! You boys came at an awfully convenient time." Spencer teased while we waited on Aria to get her stuff out of the suv.

"I need to pee really bad I'll just get my ticket and meet you guys in there!" I said while leaving no time for argument. I ran to the nonexistent line and went up to the booth.

"Hey! May I have 1 ticket for the Krampus viewing?"

"Sure thing! That'll be 10.50." The nice old man responded very happily.

"Um could I ask for a quick favor?" I asked mischievously.
