This HASNT been edited. There may be mistakes. I dont need anyone to point them out. Thank you.(: also.. im sorry.. but at the moment, I just got out of a relationship and to be honest.. I have no inspiration for a love story.. so it may be put to a halt for a bit..
He opened the truck door and I climbed in. As we drove down the road I noticed we were driving deeper and deeper into the woods. I looked up at the road sign:
Newburgs
35 Miles
"Where is this dance exactly?" I asked.
"What dance?"
"The dance we are going to.. " I slowly replied.
"Oh that dance," Chase laughed, "You'll see."
I looked up at his beautiful white smile, his eyes gleamed with perfection. He was perfection. He's everything a girl wanted in a guy, I thought to myself. He's nothing less than amazing. He took a left and went down some other road, guess we aren't going to Newburgs. We drove up a huge hill and took another turn. He turned off down some back road.
"Chase?" I laughed, "I think you may have made a wrong turn.. just saying.."
"Shh.. just wait beautiful."
He parked the truck in the middle of the woods. As he walked around to my side and opened my door he grabbed a piece of cloth out of the back seat. He gave me his hand and helped me out of the truck. He wrapped the cloth around my eyes.
"Chase, what are you-" I started.
"Do you trust me?" He asked.
I hesitated, "I just don't understand..."
"Do you?" He grabbed my hand again.
"Yes." I smiled.
He lead me down some the path that we were on. When we reached the end of the path and he turned me around.
"Ready?"
I laughed, "I don't know."
He removed the blindfold from my eyes and spun me around. I gasped as I looked around. It was beautiful. Lit up ball like lanterns hung from the trees, on the ground was a large blanket with pillows and covers, and a fire was built in front of us. The view we had was amazing. I walked over to the edge and looked down at the meadows and cityscape's below us. The stars were bright and beautiful.
"You did all of this for me?" I smiled.
"Yes mam. I thought this would be better than some dumb ball. I hope you agree." He opened up the trucks back door and took a blanket off of a basket, "I brought food."
"Awe.. Chase. This is beautiful."
"You're beautiful." He smiled.
"Mr.Cheesy-Pick-Up-Lines; it's okay though."
He sat the basket down and I ran into his arms. We hugged and hugged until finally he pulled away and kissed me on the forehead. He ran his hand down my face and smiled. He grabbed my hand and guided me over to the blankets.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" He smiled.
"It is. I don't ever get to see the stars like this.. I guess I never realized just how beautiful they are."
"Yeah. So how are you now Sky? You feeling better?"
I smiled, "Loads better."
He reached over and grabbed my hand and smiled.
