Fast forward one year.

Luke's demons didn't haunt him anymore and they both couldn't be happier about that.

Luke's world had turned from jet black to every colour you could imagine and he felt like the luckiest guy in the world.

Him and Michael lived together in a house not far from their parents, they weren't that independent yet.

Luke sat on the couch and heard waddling down the stairs. His face lifted into a small smile as he looked round the door to find michael walking around looking for food.

"What's the craving this time?" He asked with an amused tone as he stepped into the kitchen.

"Chicken nuggets," michael moaned. "Leave me alone."

"Oh okay." Luke smirked. "Guess you won't be wanting these." He held up a brown paper McDonald's bag and Michaels eyes widened, walking towards him.

Luke handed the small boy the bag and chuckled.

They sat back in the living room and Michael plopped down on the couch, already eating his 20 chicken nugget box.

"I feel fat." He whined.

"You're pregnant," Luke corrected. "But you're still beautiful."

Michael rolled his eyes and put the bag down, leaning into Luke's side.

Both boys placed their hands on Michaels stomach to feel the baby kicking around.

Michael smiled through tears. "Are you excited?"

Luke nodded and placed a brief kiss on Michaels cheek, rubbing his tummy comfortingly.

"I love you sweetheart." He said quietly.

"And I love you." Michael replied with a white toothed smile.

Michael slowly relaxed into Luke and soon he started to snore.

Luke laughed, michael was always tired now.

He kept his hand touching the baby that would soon be theirs to hold and let a wide smile break out on his face.

This was his life,
And he was more than happy with that.
