*At Deron's funeral*
I was sitting in the church starting at Deron's casket as it was staring back at me. Due to his c.o.d it was a closed casket. Gina was falling apart on my shoulder and i was too depressed to mover her. I felt tears trickle down my eyes as the pastor said the eulogy.
"Goodbye brother"i whispered to myself
"Until next time baby D" Gina followed making me look down af her. She looked up at me and burst out into more tears. Seeing her crying made me cry even harder.

It was time for the casket to be carried out to the cemetery. I stood up behind the paul bearers to march behind the casket. Before i could exit the church, Deron's mom pulled Gina and i to the side .
"Tell me what happened" she asked sniffling
"Can this please wait Ms. Jo" Gina asked reaching for her hand. She pulled her hand back and gave Gina a sarcastic look
"No i need to know now, i need to know what happened to my baby" she yelled getting louder and louder with each word. Everybody stopped and stared and within seconds Gina and i were rushed out the door by Deron's dad and cousin.
We got in the car to follow behind the funeral line. Gina and i rode in complete silence.
"What was that-" i said before Gina cut me off
"Just........don't" she said turning over in the seat facing the window. I rolled my eyes and continued to follow the line. We were almost at the burial site when Gina popped her head up and shouted pointing out the window at a dark building on the corner.
"Isn't that... That's Tai's trap house... What the fuck" she yelled. I pulled out of the line and pulled over in front of the house. I jumped out and walked up to the door. As i made my way to the door, i heard Gina hop out as well. I pushed the door open and a pungent odor of weed slapped me in the face. I scrunched my nose up in disgust and walked straight until i came to a big black brass door. As i put my hand on the knob i heard a shotgun cock behind us. I slowly turned around to see it pointing at both our faces
" i should blow y'all fucking brains out but y'all are ladies, so ill let you tell me what y'all want first. Talk bitch" he said aiming it at me. I swallowed a hard gulp and felt my stomach drop. He pointed it closer and i began to speak.
" im here to see Tai, to talk" i murmered
"And you" he said then pointing the gun at Gina. She gave him a wink and bit her lip. She moved closer to him and he backed up with the gun still in her face.
"Here to find a sexy ass man, and i just did...lets go in the back and I'll show u my spit skills" she said to him biting her lip. He chuckled and dropped the fun. He took Gina by the arm and escorted her down another hallway. Before disappearing he slapped her ass and she moaned. He chuckled before looking at me.
" knock three times then four. Dont cause no problems or i will shoot your ass" he said.
As i watched them leave i turned around and did as he said. As if on cue, a tall lightskin guy opened the door.
"Wha it do shawty" he said staring me up and down
I walked past him and stopped in my tracks at what i saw. I saw two naked girls sitting on Tai's lap counting money while he rolled up a blunt. I shut my eyes trying to push the image out of my head.
"Well well well, what brings you here" he asked sweetly
"Fuck you dickhead, you need to die, i hope you die you killed my friend asshole, fuck u fuck u stupid fuck you shot him when i begged you not to" i said breathlessly crying and heaving. He stood up and made his way to me. He pulled me into his arms and i jumped at his touch.
"First of all relax, cant have my baby up here passing out and shit" he whispered in my ear
"Im not your ba-"
" yes the hell you are, you're my fucking baby, my baby"he whispered kissing my ear. I pulled away from him and he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back into him.
" calm down now" he groaned into my ear. I took three deep breaths and got my thoughts together.
" dont threaten me again, next time you do, you wont like the consequences. Second, those are the rules of the streets. He disrespected me and he had to learn" Tai said getting me upset all over again. I slapped him in his face and he let go of me slightly pushing me. He clenched his jaw and i cant lie and say i wasn't turned on by it.
"Now if you were someone else you'd be laid out by now, but because you're my baby, I'll let it slide. Dont put your hands on me ever again or i will make you regret it" he said sternly coming closer to me. I pushed him away and he grabbed my arm and held me to the wall. He stared at me in amazement and i just cried
"Baby, stop putting your hands on me" with that he let me go and i ran out screaming Gina's name. Gina came running from the other direction towards me wiping her mouth
"Let's go" i shot out. I ran to the car and she followed me. As soon as i got in the car, i sped off not even putting my seatbelt on. He needed to be stopped.
