"Yea mom, its a girl" i said sitting across the table from my mom. We weren't one hundred percent forgiving but we were working on it.
"Im so happy for you Tiana, do you have her name" she asked staring at my growing baby bump.
"Kyrie Aliah Davison" i said handing her my ultrasound picture from out of my bag. She stared at the picture cooing.
"She's gorgeous, i cant wait to meet her". I watched my mother fall in love with my unborn baby and it makes me question why she couldn't do the same for me.
"Im sorry for not being the mother i should've been to you, but i promise i will make it righy with this little one" my mom said handing me back the picture. I tucked it back in my bag before taking a sip of my lemon water.

"Breath baby, you have to practice" Tai said holding my hand as i practiced taking steady breaths for delivery. We were in a parenting workshop, which Tai made me do. He was excited for this baby more than i was.
I grabbed Tai's hand and let out a few more slow breaths following them with three sharp, rapid ones.
Next, we practiced changig diapers and swaddling the baby. Tai was good at swaddling but sucked at changing. I had to do it. We learned a few more tips of parenting before it was time to go.
"I hungee baby" i pouted walking towards Tai. He patted my head before kissing the top of it and grabbing my hand. We walked out of the place and headed to my favorite place, Chick-Fil-A. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with large waffle fries, frosted lemonade and a strawberry milkshake. Tai had a chicken salad and a bottle of water.
"What"? Tai asked looking at me noticing i had stopped eating. My eyes began welling up and before i knew i busted out crying.
" im sorry, its just that it seems like yesterday i hated your ass, but now i love it and im glad to be having your baby. I cant believe we did this and warms my heart Tai" I said dramtically crying. Tai sucked his teeth before coming next to me wrapping his arms around me.
"These damn hormones" he said making me chuckle and hitting him in his side. He chuckled at my annoyance and kissed my forehead.
"Baby, what if im not ready to be a mom? What if im no good?" I asked looking up at Tai who was still sitting next to me.
"Babe,you think im ready? But no matter what we'll figure it out and we'll love her and protect her. We will be fine T" Tai said planting a soft kiss on my lips.
"Besides, i can always beat your ass when you mess up" he said laughing at me. I rolled my eyes and pushed him out of the seat next to me. He stumbled a few times before regaining his balance. He flexed at me before grabbing his food walking off. I rolled my eyes and slowly finished my food watching him walk away. Dramatic ass.
