Damon Chance's POV:
I was sitting in my office when my phone started to ring.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hi boss, we've got your daughter here, where would like us to bring her?" Cole asked.
"Bring her to one of the guest rooms, I'll be there in a few." I told him and hung up. I ran a hand threw my hair while I leaned back in my chair thinking of what I'm going to say to my kid. I've never met her in her 18 years of life.
I finally stood up and shoved all of my papers to the side before I went to the guest room where my daughter was at. When I got to the door, I saw two of my workers standing guard like they were afraid that someone was going to take her away. I raised an eyebrow at the boys in question.
"When we went to get her she knocked out Jackson with one punch to the head and broke Colin's nose and fractured two of his ribs." Bob told me. I was surprised to hear that my daughter knocked out one of the strongest and biggest guys the works for me with one punch.
I walked into the room that KC was laying in and saw her blonde hair splayed out on the pillow like a halo. I walked over and sat down at the edge of the bed watching her waiting for her to wake up. I watched as her chest went up slightly and back down.
"Why is it taking so long for her to wake up?" I called out to the two men standing guard.
"Cole put the whole syringe into her. He completely emptied it."
"What?!? Why?!?" I shouted jumping up from the bed glaring at Bob and Carl.
"She was fighting it. It took longer then ten minutes until she finally went cold." Carl told me.
"How long does it normally take?" I hissed.
"5 sir." I brought my hand up to my face and ran it across it in frustration.
"How long will it take for her to wake up?"
"We don't know."
"Great."
KC's POV:
I woke up to the sound of people talking. I slightly opened my eyes to look around my surroundings to see where I was. The room was blah, but it was better than a cell I guess. I was lying on a bed and was covered in blankets to keep me warm.
I saw three men standing in the doorway of the room I was in talking. I only caught some of their conversation. When the man that seamed like the boss started to turn to my I closed my eyes to make it look like I was still sleeping. I felt the bed dip as the boss sat down at the edge.
"KC, I know you're awake. Your breathing got faster." He told me. I snapped my eyes open and sat up so I could look for any weakness on the guy.
"What do you want with me?" I snarled at him. I wasn't really afraid because I know that the situation could be worse.
"I wanted to see my daughter." He told me.
Wait, so this guy sitting right in front of me is my father? He doesn't look that old, but then again, my mom was my age when she had me.
"So why kidnap me?" I asked.
"Do you really think that your mother would let you come with me willingly?" He laughed dryly, "My dear, she wouldn't after what I did to her."
