Grayson's POV:

KC blacked out again and someone pulled both of us out of the car, I pretend to have blacked out because I don't know what will happen if they knew that I was still awake. As the dragged both of us to the house I saw a puddle of blood coming from KC. I wanted to punch someone but I don't know how well I'll do on my own. I heard the men talking but I didn't understand what they were saying because they were talking in a different language.

KC was carefully dragged up the stairs and I kinda thudded up the stairs. I heard a groan come from in front of me and knew it was KC. I heard her mumble my name and then nothing. I kept my eye cracked open so I could see if we were being put in the same room, but we weren't. I pretend like I was waking up and started thrashing around making it harder for whoever that was dragging me drop me. I kicked them in the stomach and bolted to the room where I watched KC be brought into and tackled one of the guys that was with KC.

I knocked him out and the other guy dropped KC with a 'thud' and charged at me. I dogged them and let them fly out of the room and into a wall sliding down it slowly dazed. I dragged the other guy out and then ran back into the room and shut the door pushing the dresser in front of it. After that I picked KC up and set her gently on the bed and looked for where she was cut. Seeing that there was a big chunk of glass stuck in her stomach, I sucked in a big breath and looked around the room for anything I could use.

I yanked down one of the curtains and looked for something sharp that I could use to cut it up. Freaking out I started throwing things around the room seeing that her wound was still gushing blood. I then saw something shiny sticking out of the side of pants by her hip. I slowly walked over to her and grabbed it and pulled it out revealing a big pocket knife. Thinking to myself that I'll ask her about it later I started cutting strips of the curtain and lifted her shirt up revealing her stomach and six pack.

What I wasn't expecting was a tattoo of rose that was red, then turned gray like it was dying with a crow flying away from it on her ribs, and the tattoo wasn't that small. I tried to lift the shirt over the glass so I could wrap the wound without hurting her. Once her shirt was up I started working on helping KC. The sound of someone banging on the door kept getting louder and louder as I continued wrapping KC. After a few minutes I was done and her eyes shot open while she was gasping for air.

"KC! Are you okay?" I asked her grabbing her hand.

"Peachy." She hiss trying to side up but then winced glaring at the door.

"Don't try to sit up, you'll hurt yourself even more." I told her setting my hand on her shoulder.

"We need to get out of here." She told me and rolled to one of her sides and tried standing up, I tried stoping her but she put her hand up and stood up wincing and held on to the wall and stood up straight.

"You're going to hurt yourself even more." I told her.

"Shut up, I don't care until we get out of here. You're not supposed to be here." She growled at me and it kind of stung. The banging on the door got louder as more fists started hitting it.

"Oh my gosh! I just remembered that I have my phone with me!!" I whisper shouted to her pulling it out of my pocket. Her eyes widened.

"Will you quit banging on the door!? It's giving me a massive head ache!" KC shouted at the door and it stopped for a couple seconds before it started up again.

Calling the cops I talked in a hushed tone telling them where I was and that KC was hurt with a huge chunk of glass wedged in her stomach and a bullet wound in her arm. I heard the sound of glass shattering and looked over at KC to see that she was punching glass from the window. They told me to stay put and I hung up on them and tried pulling KC from the window.

"KC, calm down. The cops will be here soon to help us. You need to relax or else you're going to lose more blood." I told her grabbing her shoulder gently and sat her down on the bed. The banging on the door subsided and there were sounds of people running around as soon as I mentioned the word 'cops'. Yelling and thudding as people were rushing around packing up stuff. I heard the wailing sound of cop cars as they cut through the forest closer to the house.

"Are we going to get out of here?" KC whispered. Her eyes were drooping and her breathing got slower.

"Yes we are, but you need to stay awake for me KC, you understand? Keep looking at me." I told her as I sat down in front of her. I looked into her eyes and saw them flash with compassion, but it went away  making me think it was just my imagination.

"I only need a fe-" She stopped talking while her head tilted to the side with her eyes closing.

"KC!!!" I shouted shaking her uninjured arm trying to wake her up. I saw red and blue lights  out of the corner of my eye and ran to the broken window and grabbed the rest of the curtain and started waving it out of the window so they knew where we were. The sound of doors slamming open alerted me that they were in the house so I pushed the dresser out of the way of the door and waited for them to come.

3 weeks later...

I've been sitting beside KC's hospital bed with her mom and Crystal for three weeks waiting for her to wake up. The sound of the heart monitor was the only thing that was keeping us there besides the rise and fall of her chest. Her mom has been holding her hand the entire time she's been here and hasn't eaten much.

"Why don't you go get something to eat Miss Right." Crystal said rubbing her back. KC's mom looked at KC longingly and nodded her head standing up and walked out of the room with her shoulders shaking slightly.

"Why won't she wake up?" I growled.

"I don't know Grayson... I miss her so much."

"I hate to admit this, but I do to." I said putting my head in my hands. The sound of footsteps made me look up to someone walk by the room.

"Aww, you guys miss me." A gruff voice said.

I looked over at the bed and saw that KC was sitting up looking at both of us.

She's awake.
