Chapter Twenty

The four of us headed back to my house now that Crystal and Drake are talking again. I have a feeling that they're getting back together and hopefully no one will ruin it again. Both boys went to my living room and started playing on my PS4 while Crystal and I grabbed snacks and drinks.

"So you two?" I asked her smirking while I grabbed different kinds of chips to snack on.

"Whatever." She stated while sticking out her tongue at me.

"Are you five now?" I asked her raising an eyebrow.

"Shut up, what about you and Grayson?"

"He just asked me to go on a date." I told her shrugging my shoulders hiding my true feelings inside, I don't like people getting their hopes up for me because that lifts my hopes, then it just ends bad for me.

"Shut up! What did you say?!" She shouted while she jumped over the counter to grip my shoulders and shook me so hard I could feel my brain rattle around.

"First of all, why don't you tell the whole world. Second, I think you gave me a concussion." I ground out while I clutched my head.

"Sorry, now spill." She huffed while putting her hands on her hips.

"I said yes, but before you get excited it doesn't mean we're going to be boyfriend and girlfriend, just because we sometimes get cuddly doesn't mean we're going to date. He just happens to be at the right place at the right time." I told her while I turned back around to pick up all the chips.

"Well I think you guys would be great together." She told me smiling skipping into the family room.

"I've heard that before." I sighed. I followed her in and set the chips down on the coffee table and walked upstairs to change into a pair of sweats and a lose cropped t-shirt. When I got back downstairs I saw that all three kids were on the couch so I walked into the extra closet we have and grabbed my Big Joe bean bag and a fuzzy blanket so I could lay on it want watch the movie that was on. As soon as my head hit the comfy bag I passed out to the sound of the movie.

"I can't wait for you guys to go on a date!" My best friend Carly shouted as she finished doing my hair.

"I can't wait either!" I giggled as I looked at myself in the mirror. My reflection looking back did not make me look like I was 16, I looked like I was 18 and I thought I looked great. I was going on a date with the dream guy. I sighed.

"What do you think you guys are going to do?" She asked me while I readjusted my tank top.

"We're going out to dinner and I don't know what after, he wouldn't tell me." I told her blushing.

"Oooooo, mystery." She replied smirking. All of a sudden my doorbell rang and we both looked at each other.

" I bet, its Adrian." I whispered and bolted to the door. I swung it open smiling, until I saw who was standing at the door.

"Hello princess." The creepy guy said. He was really buff and he was smiling like he won the jack pot.

"I-I thin-k you have the wrong apartment." I stuttered closing the door a bit more.

"No I don't Katherine." He said stepping closer.

"You need to leave or else I'll call the cops." I told him in the bravest voice I could.

"You're coming with me." He growled and gripped my arm so fast I didn't have the chance to shut the door. I started kicking and screami-
