Chapter 15

Nate's POV

I have to find Olivia. This might be the last time we see each other. I need to tell her I love her again, hold her in my arms, kiss her goodbye. I see her walking out in a black figure-hugging uniform. I get a small flashback to when I brought her clothes from the uniform closet.

I walk over and hug her from behind. She chuckles and turns in my hold. I grab her hand and pull her into a "private" corner. I back her into the wall and kiss her. I'm putting everything into this kiss because it might be the last time. I know I sound like a broken record, but sue me I'm in love.

She pushes me away and says, "Whoa."

I smile and lean away so she can catch her breath.

"What was that all about?" she asks.

"I...I'm just worried this will be the last time that I get to see you Olivia. I love you and I'm afraid to loose you. Can you blame me though...you're the best thing that's happened to me."

She looks as if she is going to cry so I bring my hands to her face. She pulls them away and brings her own hand to her face.

"Nathaniel Bennett...I want to hear no more of this dying talk. I love you too, but this won't be the last time I get to see you. We will get out of this together and I will find you afterwards. I will never loose you and you will never loose me."

I nod and grab her hand. I kiss it and lead her towards her assigned van. As she walks in and takes her place I turn and walk away not able to dwell on the subject anymore.

I walk to the plane that is waiting in the hangar and sand next to Calum and Lawson who are both wearing head sets.

Lawson turns around and says, "Welcome to headquarters. You will be in charge of receiving and calculating information that is sent from Manor Hill."

"Manor Hill?"

"That would be where you escaped from. Beckett is there as well as his minions."

"Alright let's begin then."

Olivia's POV

I wipe the tears from my eyes and look across the van at Harmony who is currently having a panic attack. I reach across and grab her hand.

"Hey, it's going to be okay...we'll get through this."

She shakes her head and says, "I'm not worried about me...it's Calum. I'm nervous that things will get out of hand...he hasn't done anything this big before Olivia."

I squeeze her hand and lean back. She seems to calm down once the van starts moving.

I was told before I left that I would be in charge of sending information from the rebel headquarters to the over-head command center. When the van stops I stand and check over my uniform once more, The flaps open and we file out.

I take in a deep breath and mentally prepare for what's to come. It's started.

Johnathan's POV

I jump out of the car and lead a group of rebels to the back side of Manor Hill. I am followed by about twenty soldiers. I make a signal with my hands and the man next to me kicks in the door. We all file in as I follow up.

Is it sad to say I live for the thrilling things in life.

Kimmy's POV

Right now I am currently climbing a pillar in the front of the house. Olivia and Harmony are following behind me. As we reach the top of the house I see a vaulted glass ceiling. I call to Harmony.

"Hey you can shatter glass right?"

She scoffs underneath me, "Of course...why?"

I help Olivia and Harmony over the edge of the roof and point to the structure. She walks over and lightly taps he glass.

"Are you kidding me? This is not even shatterproof! Any amount of force could break this. I won't even have to use a high frequency pitch."

I nod and say, "Less chatter more shatter."

As soon as she opens her mouth my hands go to my ears. I watch in amazement as the glass breaks into a million pieces.

I move forward and see that everyone inside was either moaning in pain or passed out.

"Wait who is that?" Olivia asks.

"Hey Harmony I thought you had the powers capable of knocking people out."

"I do..."

"Then who is that?"

Calum's POV

"Get down there fast and don't let me here about you losing any men on the way!"

I finally feel like I have a purpose. I've never felt more alive than when I'm bossing people around. Ever since I was  kid I wanted to be in charge.

In the corner of my eye I see Harmony shatter the glass. I smile at the woman I love in the camera. She is my everything...god I love her so much.

I move the camera's focus to zoom in on them moving in when I see a crouching figure on the screen.

"Hey Lawson you may want to take a look at this."

He walks over and zooms in further to clear up the image. He sighs and then hangs his head.

"Well it looks like we have a Game changer on our hands."

Lawson's POV

"Oh shit...that is the one person capable of shutting down this whole operation. That means that the girls are in serious trouble. His name is Ivan Yuson. He is basically a combination of brains, strength, and stealth. He sucks ass and has never walked away from a fight without the opponent."

I watch Nate and Calum's reactions as they process what I've just told them.

"We have to get down there and help them. I'm not losing her without me being there for her." syas Nate.

He reaches for the free headset and says, "Oliva...Olivia can you hear me! The connection was lost after Harmony shattered the glass."

He puts his head in his hands and sighs slowly. When he lifts his head back up I can see his eyes tearing up.

I put my hand on his shoulder and says, "There's nothing we can do but watch...I'm sorry."

Calum just seems frozen.

"I'm so sorry."
