Chapter 10

Nate's POV

I know that I am lying on the ground. I also know that someone has their hands on my shoulders and they are shaking me rather roughly. I groan from the pain and indistinctly mumble for them to stop.

The next moment there is a pain so sharp on my left check that I shoot straight upright and my hand flies to my check.

The first thing is, "What the hell ?"

I open my eyes to see a giggling Harmony in front of me. She is trying very hard to contain her laughter and I roll my eyes at her.

"Sorry you weren't responding to me being gentle so I had to go to emergency tactics."

"That was you being gentle! I feel sorry for Calum."

She turns red and walks away avoiding eye-contact with Calum. Now we're even.

The door opens and we are all taken by two guards each to a big open room with long tables set up in the center and cots set up along the perimeter of the walls. It oddly resembled an army barrack.

Olivia's POV

So I had the idea to bring up another conversation about the "good times" only I forgot that Kimmy's good times was her and Johnathan getting all nasty. She is currently blabbing into Logan's ear. I feel really bad, but it's just so funny.

Logan is lightly banging her head against the wall and sarcastically replying every time Kimmy asks a question.

"My Johnathan is so beautiful that sometimes I forget what's going on, you know?"

"Oh yeah..." thump, thump, thump.

I chuckle at the hilarity, but my slight happiness goes away when the door opens and several guards pick us up and pull us into a big room with long tables and chairs. I look further into the room and see the boys and Harmony sitting there equally as puzzled. All I see right now though is Nate and his amber eyes staring right back at me.

Kimmy's POV

I can't believe these guards! Why do they feel the need to push us around all the time. That doesn't matter because I see my Johnathan looking straight at me with wide eyed. I stand up and brush myself off. He takes off running for me and I do the same.

I hear him yell, "Babe!" I love that nickname.

The scene is so perfect it practically happens in slow-motion. Just before we are in reach of each other's arms, that idiot Calum steps in and says, "NOPE!"

I look to Johnathan and he starts growling like an animal at Calum who for once doesn't back away in fright.

Across the room I hear someone yell, "Just let her at him already maybe it will shut them up!"

Needing no further tempting I crash into Johnathan and begin to take what I've been missing for so long. Finally I feel like I can breathe again.

Logan's POV

To me it almost seems unfair that all these couples are romantically reuniting. So all I can do is awkwardly stand there.

What's worse is that it is so unbearably sweet. For example Olivia and Nate are holding each other close and probably whispering words that are meant for only each other's ears.

Kimmy and Johnathan are attempting to inhale each others faces so now things are really awkward...

Harmony and Calum are just being adorable in general. I guess that's what happens when you are in a relationship for a while.
