Chapter 13

Olivia's POV

"Why did we come to this random guy's house?" Johnathan asks.

I roll my eyes at him. He obviously didn't listen to Lawson introducing himself or why we were here.

Logan says, "We came here because Lawson can help us. I told you that he was a Head Coordinator and Pilot for the Uprising side here. You can help us defeat these monsters once and for all."

I am confused I knew there was an uprising thanks to Logan's description before, but I never got a full explanation.

"Whoa, pardon my asking but what part are we going to play exactly. I don't want to disappoint you Logan, but I don't want to put any of us in more danger than we already are."

She nods in understanding and begins.

"Before this madness the Land of Fifth was a peaceful place just like the stories said. Then about ten years ago Beckett and his monkey's came and declared a Martial Law to the land. The uprisings were started to bring him down, but attack after attack we kept losing."

"Again where do we help in this madness?"

Lawson steps in and says, "I know that you have special talents...all of you do. We have great hackers that found your files from Mina. Olivia, Nate, and Calum all have astonishingly high IQ's. Harmony can sing well and if needed can shatter eardrums with one pitch. We need you all to help us win the fight."

I step forward and put my hand out towards Lawson.

"I think I speak for everyone when I say I will absolutely help."

He gives me a curt nod and turns around walking down the hallway with Logan in tow.
