*Third P.O.V*

It was the last day of school of 8th grade, Mrs. Clarkson was handing out the final report cards. Lyla was as calm as ever. She was sure she passed, but she wasn't sure by what. This totally contrasted from the way Harry was feeling. He was a nervous wreck. And it didn't help that he was thinking about all the homework and classwork he failed to complete. He rather procrastinate by playing video games and sports. His right leg was bouncing and his palms began to feel slightly sweaty. Mrs. Clarkson finally reached Lyla's desk and handed over the report card.

Lyla silently prayed she at least got over an 80. She glanced at her report card to see a 96 circled, with a smiley face next to it. Lyla held a thumbs up toward Harry. This was to assure him, she passed. They didn't want to advance onto the next grade without the other. Harry finally received his. He was scared to say the least. His mom is expecting an average over an 80, but he's almost positive that's not going to happen. He slowly opened his report card to see a..........70. A 70? Harry felt relieved that he passed......but a 70 really? Harry frowned while holding a thumbs up toward Lyla. Lyla smiled but then scrunched her eyebrows feeling confused. If you pass, shouldn't you be smiling instead of frowning? Lyla made a mental note to question Harry about it later.

"Alright guys, I am extremely happy to say everyone passed!" Mrs. Clarkson clapped her hands.

The whole class roared with excitement. Everyone was hollering woo-who, yeah and even boo ya! There was a group of kids though, that let out a sigh of relief. This year was very stressful, to be honest. So everyone was finally able to breathe and not have the world on their shoulders.

"This summer I want the whole lot of you to actually enjoy yourselves. Because next year, you guys will be going into high school, you'll be considered freshman. And I don't want any of you to start slacking by all the work you will receive. This year was hectic but I'm not gonna have any of you guys next year so there's nothing to worry about!" Mrs. Clarkson winked.

"Bye y'all, have a great summer!" She then cheered doing a little dance.

Everyone grabbed their bags and literally ran out the classroom.  Harry waited outside for Lyla, who was taking her slow time.

"Seriously Ly, I could have gone home and came back, and you would still be in there packing your stuff."

"I have two speeds; slow and stop. You pick which one you want me to go." I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, yeah." He waved me off.

"So how would you like to celebrate the ending of school? Fancy throwing out all our notebooks and burning them or........" He trailed off.

"Haha what? Harry how many times have I told you to stay away from fire? I kind of just wanted some ice cream."

"Yeah that works too! I believe there's a Baskin Robbins near by........my home or yours?"

"Well I need to go feed my dogs, so mine."

"Okay, sounds good."

We exited the school and began walking toward Baskin Robbins.

"I'll have 2 scoops of chocolate chip cookie dough. And he'll have 2 scoop of cookies n' cream."

*************

"You just had to bring your cat didn't you?" I pressed 3 in the elevator.

"Yeah of course. I forgot you still live in a apartment."
