(1 week later)

I sit on my suitcase before sighing in frustration.

"Pel..." I moan.

Perri chuckles before throwing his phone down on the bed.

"I'll zip it up..." He smiles.

He zips up the suitcase with ease.

"I really hope that you've got everything you want in there because I'm not opening that again..." I say, standing it up.

So, it's the end of our lovely stay in Glasgow.

I wasn't particularly excited to come here, but now the thought of leaving Dad and Sapphire makes me slightly sick.

I walk up to the mirror and try and sort myself out.

My hair is an actual mess so I slick it back into a ponytail.

I've made no effort with my outfit. My black tracksuit bottoms, a grey top and then Pel's oversized DV hoodie.

Good enough.

I think about putting on make up but I just can't be bothered...

Pel is sitting at the edge of his bed on his phone.

"Mitch just sent me a text- 'can't wait for you to get back. But now you're engaged, I guess you're just going to irritate me." Pel says.

I smile just as Dad walks in the room.

"Hello, hello..." He says. "All packed? I should drive you guys to the airport soon."

"Yes, Dad." I say, walking up to hug him.

He smells like how he's always smelt. It reminds me of my old home.

He kisses my forehead.

"Ready, Pel?" Dad says, glancing over at Perri.

"Yes, sir." Perri says in a posh accent before standing up and shoving his phone in his back pocket.

Dad lugs our suitcases downstairs after Perri argued to carry them down himself a few several times.

Sapphire is downstairs. She hugs me immediately when I get to the bottom step.

The thought of leaving her breaks my heart. I can't even think that I used to once hate her.

"Take care of yourself..." She smiles. "I'll see you for your wedding. Are you sure you don't want a sandwich or something for the road?"

"We're fine, thanks Saph." Perri says.

She hugs Perri and then soon we're off. Dad drives and Pel sits at the front with him.

I sit at the back and stare out of the window.

I really needed this mini vacation. It's always chaos back at home.

Then soon we've arrived and Dad helps us with our luggage once again.
