Aya and Sayu are not twins, but same aged sisters. I honestly don't know how to explain bc I'd get confused myself. For now, let's just say, "Plot convenience."

Aya's gaze turned to the window of the bakery, staring at the rain that seemed to be falling endlessly. As much as she loved the rain, she absolutely dreaded it when she didn't have an umbrella with her. Not to mention, her phone was conveniently on her bed, as she had forgotten it when she left her house, so she couldn't call her chauffeur to pick her up.
The girl let out an exasperated sigh. The closest store that sold umbrellas was about five blocks down the bakery, and she was definitely not going to wet her new jacket, a present from cousin of hers. Plus, the store itself was warm and cozy. She would simply have to wait until the rain subsided to go home.

Behind her booth was a family of three. A little child was speaking to her parents, whining about how she had wanted to play in the park today, but couldn't because of the rain. The mother laughed while the father simply patted her small head.
"Well, you know, they say that if you sing for the rain to go away, it will!"
"Really?"
"Why don't you give it a try, dear?"
"Rain, rain, go away! Come again another day! Little Suzu wants to play! Rain, rain, go away!"
The child frowned and pouted, "It's not going away!"
The father laughed, "Be patient, dear. It will let up soon."
Aya rested her cheek on her palm while poking the half-eaten cake on her plate. Today was certainly boring. Nothing but rain and wind.
Suddenly, from the corner of her vision, she saw someone sit down in front of her. Looking up, she saw him drinking a cup of coffee.
"Sei-chan? I thought you had stuff to do today?"
Akashi placed his cup down. "It was canceled. Some of them were going to be delayed, so it was put off until tomorrow."
Aya gave a understanding nod. Both of them were then encompassed in comfortable silence, ignoring the chattering in the bakery. It wasn't like they didn't want to speak with each other; it was mutual understanding that both of them preferred a more quiet atmosphere as of now.

A while later, Akashi stood up, having paid the bill. Aya looked up in slight surprise at the sudden movement, as she was absorbed in looking at the falling rain outside. The young man picked up his umbrella and motioned to the door, and although Aya was hesitant to leave the warm building and go outside to face the cold rain, she complied and followed.
Apparently, his umbrella was big enough to cover both of them with a bit of extra space. Aya was quick to notice the absence of his chauffeur, and that they were walking in the direction of her home. She was pretty sure that he could have gotten them a ride instead of making them walk.
"So, what's with the walking? I'm pretty sure you're rich enough to at least hail a taxi."
"It's a waste of money."
Aya almost scoffed. Almost. "Since when were you such a frugal person? Last time I checked, you were filthy rich and still are."
"Is it that hard to acknowledge the fact that I simply do not like those rude drivers? Not to mention, the filthiness of the cars know no bounds."
