To @Necuki because you just wanted a fast update. XD

It was starting to get really cold in Kyoto. Not to the point where it was snowing, but it was cold enough for your breath to be visible and frost to start forming. Winter was only days away.

Aya cupped her hands over her mouth and blew. Damn, it was cold. Even with a jacket and scarf on, the cold was getting to her.

The game between Seirin and Touou had ended with the latter as the winner. She had been there herself, and had to admit, Aomine's zone was pretty damn  impressive. But as the guy said himself, Kagami's 'light' was too dim. He couldn't defeat him, even if Kuroko was helping him.

Not that it had anything to do with her. She was Rakuzan's manager, not Seirin's. Touou's manager was impressive too, with her 'woman's intuition' and her big rack.

While she continued to walk on, her train of thoughts still going on, someone bumped into her, making her fall on her butt. A hand was held in front of her, and when she looked up, she saw a familiar face.

"Aya?"

"Auntie?"

(Now let's just name Aya's aunt. How about Haruka?)

It's been a while since she had last saw her aunt. About two months to be exact. She was a surgeon at one of their hospitals, so she really had no time to be socializing.

They were currently in a nearby cafe, sheltered from the cold weather.

Haruka took a sip of her coffee. "So, how are you doing, dear? School's been alright?"

"Fine. There's nothing really interesting besides basketball, I guess."

"And how is Sayu?"

"She's been doing perfefctly fine."

"My brother?"

When she mentioned her father, Aya looked down at her cup. She didn't like talking about her father. She always avoided the topic.

"Same as usual."

"How about your mother?"

Her mother was also a subject she would rather not talk about.

"Fine."

There was an awkward silence between them. They simply sat there and drank coffee while looking out the window. People were bustling buy. Some were businessmen, some were moms and dads with their kids, some were students.

Haruka, seeing that Aya wasn't going to speak any time soon, decided to break the silence.

"So! You still want to become a doctor?"

"Yea. But Dad probably won't let me. You know him.. Company always comes first."

"So if you're stuck with the company, you won't mind?"

"Not really."

Lies. Every single one of them. And both of them knew. When Aya was a child, she had always wanted to become a doctor. Like Haruka's son, Shintarou, she often visited the hospital to see them work. But often, just to wear those white lab coats. They looked really really cool. Expecially when you run around in them. It makes them all fluttery and stuff.

Not to mention, when she was in elementary school, when her homework asked her what she wanted to become, she always wrote 'Doctor'.

But you know the best part about being a doctor? It's when you tell your patient that they're all back to health and that they don't need to worry about a thing. And then they smile at you. That's the best part. When they know that they're going to be fine and have no need to worry.
