Mark let out a short, happy sigh as he got down onto one knee. He smiled up at the green haired boy sitting on bench, with his hands clamped onto the edge of it nervously. Mark chuckled slightly when he glanced over Jacks worried facial features, features Jack was trying to cover with a smile.
"Angel, don't be nervous," Mark said, grabbing the ice skate next to him, and sliding it onto Jacks foot.
"I'm not nervous," Jack claimed, watching Mark lace up the shoe with a timid expression.
Mark looked up at the boy with an amused expression, "It's your first time," He said, done with tying the skate, "Of course you're nervous," He grabbed the second shoe, but before putting it on sat up a bit and placed his hand on Jacks cheek, kissing the boys lips quickly, "I mean, you're really not good at hiding it."
Jack pouted at Mark, making Mark kiss him again and kneel back down. He grabbed the shoe again, and put it on Jack's foot, lacing it and tying it to fit Jack's foot.
Mark then stood up, already knowing how to walk in the skates without fail, and stuck his hand out for Jack to take. And he did, with a scared smile, and stood up. Jack instantly let out a tiny squeak when he went to take a step, and fell back down onto the bench.
Mark muffled a laugh, and then leaned down to grab Jack's waist. He picked the small boy up and helped him stand on his own two feet.
"You okay?" Mark asked.
Jack looked into Mark's eyes and frowned, "I didn't know walking in these was gonna be difficult."
Mark gave Jack a small smile, slipping his hands under Jacks jacket and shirt to run his fingers around his skin, "I'm sorry angel,"
"Sorry for what?" Jack asked, looking curiously into Mark's eyes.
"I feel like you're not having a good time," Mark said honestly, and Jack got a little sad.
"No don't feel that way, I'm fine!" Jack said, and started to walk away slowly out of Mark's grip. His legs were shaking slightly, as the Irish boy walked across the floor on his skates. He shrieked when he almost fell over, but quickly regained his composure before Mark could come in and save him.
After a minute, once Jack felt comfortable walking in the shoes, he smiled at Mark, "Okay I'm ready," he said, walking over and grabbing Mark's jacket with both his hands.
He kissed the boy with a smile, "And I am having a good time, I promise," Jack kissed him again, "Even if I fall on my ass and cry, I'll still be having a good time, as long as I'm with you."
Mark snorted, "That's so cliché,"
"Yeah but, that's the best way to be."

Jack frowned as he looked at the ice in front of him with a scared expression. He stood there, wobbling slightly as his eyes traveled all around the transparent floor, looking at how weathered it all was.
He jumped when he saw someone fall on their face right in front of him, and Jack immediately cowered into Mark's chest.
"Hey, can you guys move out of the way, so others can get through?" One of the employees standing by the door asked politely. Jack looked at him with a sad expression, and felt Mark pull him backwards. Mark leaned his back against the metal railing, and wrapped his arms around Jack, who buried his face in Mark's neck.
