Jack squeezed Mark's hand tightly as he stood behind him, watching the boy as he picked up a burger from the grill and placed it on a bun on his plate. Jack soon slid his plate into Mark's point of view, making the other boy chuckle, and put a burger onto his.

Jack laid his head on Mark's shoulder, "Thank you," His voice died off, but he giggled afterwards, "Angel,"

Mark giggled as well, "I can't believe you just called me that," He said, moving down the table, filled with various kinds of pasta.

Jack's voice went down to a whisper, "Would you rather me call you daddy?" He asked, looking at Mark's face.

Mark licked his lips, shaking his head, "I'd rather you stay quiet baby boy," He whispered back, not really saying yes but, not saying no either. Jack held onto the small hope that was there, and decided to stay quiet for both of their sakes.

Mark's uncle had informed him, that him and his brother were not the only family coming up that week. Apparently a lot of people were coming. Not that Mark didn't mind them, he just hoped no one would be as homophobic as his mom was.

So when the boys walked out of the house five minutes before, they saw that there was food cooked, and a lot of pastas for them waiting to be eaten. Mark believed he was in heaven.

They heard a dinging sound come from somewhere inside the house, and Mark couldn't help the uneasy feeling he suddenly felt. He wanted his family to love Jack so badly, he apparently zoned out, making Jack have to shake his boyfriends body to get him back to reality.

Jack stepped in front of him and kissed the boy slowly, making Mark come to him senses officially, "I don't mean to brag but, I'm pretty cool," Jack smiled against Marks lips, "I think I've said this before right?"

Mark chuckled and kissed the boy again, "You've happened to say it a lot, I'll admit," He backed away feel the green haired boy when he heard a collection of voices start to migrate towards the backyard.

Jack noticed it too, and released Mark's hand, "Then if the rest of your family is like Josh," He looked back at Mark, "They'll definitely love me," He giggled, Mark now glancing over at the small boy, "I'm kind of a catch, you see,"

Mark wanted to kiss him so badly because of how cute the boy was acting, and because of how adorable fucking smile. Mark wanted to touch the boy so badly and make him feel loved, but he couldn't exactly do that considering three more of his family members had walked out, and were standing on the patio of his mother's house.

They smiled at his uncle, and smiled at Mark. Their smiles turned into confusion when their eyes landed on Jack's, considering, they have no idea who that boy is and why he's there.

"Uh, Mark hey!" A gray haired man spoke, walking over to give Mark one of those bro hugs that guys do (good job michelle you're so good at explaining things). The elderly man stepped away from him, peering at the Irish man behind Mark questioningly.

Mark looked at Jack too, kind of at a loss for words, "Uh," He didn't know how he would say what he was going to. He looked at the two women behind the old man, and then back at the guy. They were all suspicious, it made Mark nervous.
