Mark sighed softly, threading his fingers lightly through Jack's soft, fading hair. He breathed slower and slower as the minutes passed, tightening his arm every once in awhile just to make sure his baby boy was still with him. And every time Jack would make a whimper, confirming that he was still lying on the mattress, breathing in Mark's familiar scent and listening to the boys quiet heartbeats.

Jack let his eyes flutter shut, simply enjoying his boyfriends warmwarm body. He smiled to himself every time he'd feel Mark's fingers graze across his scalp, getting small chills at the delicate touch.

Jack couldn't feel anything but the security he got from being in Mark's arms. He couldn't stop himself from letting his soul get lost with the pretty boys calming aroma. All he felt was Mark, and all he ever wanted to feel, was Mark.

The green haired boy moved his head so he was staring up at Mark, who's eyes were closed. Jack let his soft and tired eyes travel over Mark's pretty face, and Jack honestly didn't know why he thought Mark was that word. He just couldn't think of anything else that would fit him, he's just so pretty. Pretty was made for Mark.

Jack felt warm inside when he felt Mark's arm tighten, and saw his eyes open slowly. When Mark saw Jack looking at him, he couldn't fight the smile off of his face.

"Hey angel," Mark's rough voice spoke, being that the two boys haven't talked for a good twenty minutes.

Jack blushed, "Hi Mark," His voice was quiet, and soft, making Jack seem so so cute. Mark smiled and ran his hands through Jack's hair a bit more thoroughly, but not too hard. It was good enough to make Jack hum and place his ear against Mark's chest again.

"I'm sorry," Mark spoke up, making Jack furrow his eyebrows and lift his head, looking at Mark.

"Sorry for what?" Jack asked, moving his body so he was now sitting straight up. Mark lifted himself up as well, sitting and staring at his boyfriend as Jack sat kneeling on the bed.

"For what happened to you in Ireland," Mark said softly, reaching out and grabbing Jack's hand, playing with it using both of his hands.

Jack frowned, "None of that was your fault Mark," He said, his eyes trained on his hand in Mark's, "It was a choice made by me many years ago," Jack's eyes looked up to Mark's, "You can't change anything about that." He finished sadly.

Mark looked up at Jack, "I wish I could," He said, running his fingers over Jack's knuckle. It went silent after that. Jack didn't know what to say, and frankly, neither did Mark.

It was just upsetting to Mark that he couldn't stop bad things from happening to Jack, even before he met him. He doesn't want him to be unhappy, that should be a word Jack never used to describe himself because Mark cares about him so so much. He wants to make him happy, he wants to make him feel loved.

Mark reached out for Jack's small waist, and brought him closer to himself. Jack made a quiet noise of surprise, but went along with it when he was pulled onto Mark's lap.

Mark stared at Jack's face quickly before he leaned in and kissed the boy softly. Jack kissed back, as light as Mark did because he couldn't help but feel how much feeling Mark felt for him. It was indescribable, how light the kiss was but how much was put into it.
