The entire hallway was silent. All eyes were on me. I actually do like Elaina.

Arielle-Who is calling a ghetto mermaid? God is the only thing holding me back from beating your ass right now.

The entire hallway cleared out and Melanie and Arielle glared at me as they walked away.
Devon-I've known you for a long time and the fact that you bet on girl like Elaina was just wrong. I just miss hanging with my bro. You put Elaina before us and shes isn't even your girlfriend. I know you like I can see it when you look at her. Go and get her back. (walks away)

Elaina's POV
Melanie-I cant believe him. He has some nerve
Arielle-I just hope he doesnt know about what happened to Elaina
Me-I didnt tell him. I havent told anyone
Melanie-So then how does he know
Me-(crying) I dont know

Devon-(walks in)
Melanie-What do you want?
Devon-I just came to talk. I know you're upset, but August truly likes you. I had no idea about the bet or any of the secrets Trey was talking about. What I do know is, August didnt mean for this to happen, I can see that he likes you. Ive known August for a long time, and I know when a girl has actually made him better. I was just upset that he always spends time with you instead of his friends.
Me-But why dont I feel better? First Trey cheating and then to find out that Im only apart of a bet
Devon-I guess August realized that you meant way more to him than just a bet. And no he didn't send me in here to talk to you, I just wanted to let you know the real from the fake. Trey is bitter and is upset that August has something good.
Me-Thanks Devon
Devon-No problem, if you need me, I'm here. (walks out)
Melanie-Fix your makeup and lets go to class. And then after school we are going to get smoothies and laugh at the ratchet people at the park

Melanie and Arielle treated me to smoothies and it just felt good after what was going on. I think August likes me. I don't know how I feel about him right now knowing that I started out as a bet. I changed into my pajamas (outfits in comments) Then my doorbell rang
Me-(opens the door) What do you want August?
August-Just to talk. Hear me out and if you still dont want anything to with me then that fine. I just want you to know the truth.
Me-Fine come inside. I want to know everything from start to finish
August-Trey said he was interested in having sex with you because he thought you were sexy and easy. I told him that I really wasnt interested and at the time, and then he made the bet because he didnt believe me. But then once I got to know you, I began to realize that you were an amazing girl and I had completely forgot about the bet. I didnt want to do the bet anymore. Once Trey got you, he won. I never meant to hurt you
Me-(slaps him)
August-What was that for?
Me-For playing me. But I forgive you
August-You do?
Me-Yea I do. But do something stupid again see what happens
August-Yes ma'am.
Me-Now go hang out with Devon
August-Are you sure?
Me-I'm good here. Devon wants to hang out with you. Go have fun
August-Okay. (walks to the door)
Me-Oh and August
August-Yea
Me-Do you actually like me?
August-Yea I do (smiles)
Me-(kisses him) I do too. Go.
