Elaina's POV

After School

I was walking home when I saw a car pull up next to me. What the hell is going on? I'm not getting kidnapped today. The car stopped and the driver rolled down the window. It was August. Whew!

August-Get in the car

I kept walking

August-Elana, Layla, whatever your name is lets go do this project. Hurry up before anyone sees us.

I got in the car and just sat there. The entire ride was quiet. We pulled up to this big house and he immediately had an attitude.

August-Get out, we're here.

I couldn't help but stare at how big the house is. We walked in and the inside was even more beautiful than the outside. We made our way upstairs and into what seems to be his room.

August-So did you come up with questions to ask me?

I just shook my head.

August-I knew this was a waste of time.

Me-(low voice)I could come up with some questions now

August-You do that.

The entire time I was there he was just on his phone. We got absolutely nothing done. This is going to be a long month. He wasn't paying attention so I got up and left. I don't even think he noticed that I left he was too busy smiling at his phone. This is why I don't like or associate with them. Too self-centered. I walked home and changed my clothes (outfits in comments). I sat down at my desk and did my homework. My phone went off and it was Melanie facetiming me.

Me-Yes Mel

Melanie-How was it with August?

Me-Well, first he pulled up next to me in his car and then forced me to get in his car. Then we went to his house and he was upset that I didn't have the questions written down even though we just got the project today. Then he was on his phone the entire time and didn't pay attention at all.

Melanie-He's such a jerk. I cant stand him

Me-Yea I know.

Melanie-When are you meeting him again

Me-I'm not sure. I already know when we go to school tomorrow I'm going to hear it from him and I'm not in the mood for it.

Melanie-I see you girl. Me and Arielle will handle them if they get out of hand.

Me-Thank you girl.

Melanie-Im going to sleep.

Me-You stay going to sleep early. Its like 9 or 10.

Melanie-If you want me at school on time, then let me go to sleep.

Me-Fine. Goodnight Mel

Me-Night Eli.

After I hung up with Melanie, I got into bed and watched television until I fell asleep.

The Next Day

I walked into class and August was mean mugging me. I really don't want to deal with him. I already feel my anxiety going through the roof. After class was over, I was at my locker when August came up to me. 

August-Be at my house at 5. we'll work on the project then. Okay Layla (walks away)

Me-(low voice) My name is Elaina.
