Relaxation- Girls Only!

Arielle's POV

Friday Night

After we left August's house, we all went back to Elaina's house, after we got clothes. We are going to spend the night at Elaina's house and then tomorrow morning we are going to go shopping and have a spa day. Just a day of relaxation because we all need it especially Elaina. 

Bella-Elaina, are you seriously wearing a onesie

Elaina-Absolutely

Me-Get used to it. She has one for every animal

Mercedes-I can only imagine. 

Elaina-Check my closet. 

Mercedes-I have to see this (opens closet) She wasn't lying

Me-Told you. 

Bella-Tonight was crazy

Melanie-Yea it was. 

Mercedes-I'm sorry Elaina I feel like its my fault.

Elaina-No its not. It was bound to happen sometime soon and plus he shouldn't have shown up there. 

Bella-If you don't mind me asking what happened with your father? You don't have to say anything if you don't want to

Elaina-Since everyone knows now. I might as well just say it. When my mom would go to work she would make my dad take me to school. At around 3rd grade he used to get drunk and hit my mom over and over again. I wanted to protect my mom so I tried to fight him off. Of course he won and the next day he beat me for trying to stop him from fighting my mom. And my mom never knew for the longest time.

Melanie-She would always come running to my house or Ari's to stay over and she would be crying and we promised her not to say anything to anybody. 

Elaina- It kept going for a while until one morning  my mom came back inside because she left something and she heard me screaming and she came in and saw him on top of me punching me hard. 

Mercedes-What happened?

Elaina-She got him off of me and she made me call the police. They took him in and the he wen to prison for child abuse and domestic violence. I think he got 3-10 years in prison. After that, I started boxing so that it could never happen again to me. My mom filed for divorced and then she married my stepfather who I absolutely love. 

Melanie-Well tomorrow we can relax and you can get your mind off of everything. 

Me-Yes, you gone get your life girl

Bella-We've only been here for a week and we see that you deserve it

Melanie-Its only been a week. Child it feels like forever. 

Me-Go to sleep Mel, you're tired. 

Melanie-No I'm not. 

Bella-Speaking of Melanie. I saw you over there with Devon. 

Elaina-Oh snap. Melanie got the juice.

Melanie-Its nothing really. (smiles)

Me-That smile says otherwise

Melanie-I mean I do kind of like him. Hes cute and all

Mercedes-Y'all would be cute. He has those dimples

Melanie-Aye. 

Mercedes-Getting defensive already. 

Bella-You guys should date. It would be cute. You and Devon. Elaina and August. Arielle and 

Me-My damn self.

Elaina-August and I are not dating

Me-They way you guys were snuggled up at his house earlier would say otherwise. 

Elaina-I'm taking things slow with him. I don't need to rush into anything. And we're both okay with that

Bella-I don't blame you. His world seems to stop when you talk to him or when someone says your name. I think he loves you

Elaina-Well I don't know about love. Maybe like

Me-I wouldn't be surprised if he did love you. The question is do you love him?

Elaina-....As a friend... I don't know

Mercedes-That sounds like a possibility. 

The Next Day

Us girls were at the mall shopping. We went everywhere and it just felt good to see Elaina happy. She's been through a lot and to actually see my best friend genuinely happy makes me happy. 

Melanie-Shes such a kid

Me-I mean she hasn't really been this happy in a while. After he dad and everything, luck hasn't been on her side lately. But since August, I think its changing. 

Melanie-Just good to see her smile 

Me-Yea. Lets go before she spends all her money

Later

Elaina-Bella whats going o with your relationship status?

Bella-Remaining single for now. Last boyfriend was a jerk

Me-What happened?

Mercedes-He basically thought that I was Bella even though I have bright red hair. 

Melanie-Maybe he wanted the fantasy of twins

Bella-Probably. We may be twins but the one thing we don't share are boyfriends. 

Elaina-What kills me is that he thought you were Bella even though your hair is red. 

Mercedes-He wanted to cheat. I kicked his ass and told Bella. I wasn't going to be dealing with that.

Me-What about you Mercedes?

Mercedes-No one really. We both felt that our personalities didn't mesh well together. I'm very loud and outgoing and he was very reserved, so we decided to break it off so it was pretty mutual. We are still friends. 

Elaina-That's good. 

(AN- Im sorry I havent posted in a while, school has just started up and I'm preparing for a huge test this week. But I have a week off from school because of testing so I would be updating more.)
