The Next Day
I was laying in bed and I couldn't stop thinking about August. He really loved me. I put on some workout clothes (outfit in comments) and went to the gym. Going to the gym usually gets me to think straight. When I went to the gym Devon was there. After working out we wet to go get frozen yogurt.
Devon-Hey E. What's up
Me-Just came to clear my mind
Devon-Same. I heard you talked to August
Me-Yea he must have told you
Devon-Yea he did. Well I knew before he told you
Me-You knew?
Devon-Yea I did. He can't stop talking about you.
Me-Now I know
Devon-You should give him a chance. He's actually not a jerk
Me-I just cant get over the fact that I started out as a bet
Devon-I can understand why you're angry. I would be angry about that too, but I've known August for as long as I could remember. That wasn't who he truly is. After he started hanging out with Trey he changed completely. He was playing girls left and right, he just didn't care about people's feelings. But after he met you, he became himself again. He cares for you. He cares about people again
Me-I didn't know that. I always thought he was a jerk
Devon-But let me guess, once you got to know him, you saw a different side of him
Me-Took the words right out of my mouth
Devon-Hey, sometimes I'm right.
Me-I feel like if we date, it will change everything
Devon-Trust me it will change, but you can decide whether it changes for the good or for the bad.
Just then Bella walked in.
Me-Hey Bells
Bella-What's up loves
Devon-I was just telling E to give August a chance
Bella-Totally should. He really cares for you
Devon-That's what I said
Bella-You two balance each other out. Real relationship goals right there.
Me-How?
Bella-For one, you're quiet balances out his loudness.
Me-He's not that loud
Devon-Our point exactly. 2, you both love hard. Once you're with someone, you're with them
Bella-Shall we keep going
Me-I got it.
Devon-She's afraid that it will change their friendship
