Elaina's POV 

Arielle's House 

We were just chilling at Arielle's house watching tv in the living room when I got a phone call from an unknown number 

Me-(answers) Hello

Dad-I'm out. I'm coming for you Elaina (hangs up)

Me-(drops my phone)

Arielle-Elaina?

Me-Hes out. 

Arielle-Turn to the news. Hurry

Melanie-I'm hurrying (changes the channel)

TV-Inmate Daniel Banks has been released from prison after only spending 5 years behind bars. 

Bella-What are you going to do

Me-I don't know. 

Mercedes-I don't think he could find you now. You've moved so many times

Me-Trust me if he wanted to find me he would. 

Melanie-When does your mom and stepdad come back from Japan?

Me-Next week. 

Arielle-What are you going to do?

Me-There is nothing for me to do. I just have to wait. If he comes, he comes. I will just have to defend myself

Melanie-(yelling) DO YO KNOW HOW DANGEROUS THAT IS ELI?

Me-(yelling) ITS NOT LIKE I HAVE A CHOICE MEL (calm voice) Its not like I have a choice. Running isn't an option anymore 

Arielle-Someone has to stay at that house with you until your parents get back

Me-Who? I'm not putting you guys in that. I cant stand to see anyone of you get hurt, I have to be a big girl about this. 

Arielle-If anything happens, call on of us and we will come right over. 

Me-I will. 

Bella-Stay here tonight. Just so we know that you're okay. 

Me-Okay. 

Arielle-Everything will be okay nina (hugs me)

Me-I just wish this was over. 

Arielle-I will soon be over 

I have to stand up and be a big girl about it. I cant keep running anymore from him. Anytime I run, he finds me. 

A Few Days Later  

After School 

I was on my way home from school and just felt a little off. I don't know what it is, it just felt off. As soon as I got home I called Arielle. 

Arielle-Yea baby girl

Me-I feel weird

Arielle-Like what

Me-I don't know, I got a headache

Arielle-Did you eat anything?

Me-Not yet

Arielle-Eat something and see how you feel. 

Me-Okay. (goes downstairs) This is so crazy. 

Arielle-What do you mean?

Me-I don't know. Just everything. I feel a huge weight on my shoulders.

Arielle-Once you're mom comes back you guys can figure everything out.
