Riley,
Ever since that party, everyone has been all over Fae and Lucas. It made me sad how my best friend won't even talk to me. I sit by myself at lunch and all I see is Lucas and Fae being gushed over. I walk to class by myself too.
It was currently the end of the day and I couldn't be anymore happier. It was a Friday as well. I sighed and slipped on my jacket because it was getting gold outside. I got out and my face was hit with the crisp winter air. I shivered and began my route. I soon saw Lucas's brother walking too.
"Hey Taylor." I said quietly. He smiled and waved at me. We walked side by side until Taylor wanted to stop me. I gave him a confusing look. He leaned down and kissed me. He then pulled back and continued to walk. I blushed but the kiss didn't feel right. I didn't get the sparks I was supposed to feel. I cached up to him.
"What was that about?" I asked.
"I wanted to kiss you so I did." He shrugged. I stayed quiet after that and waved goodbye as we parted ways. I shut my door and thought about the kiss. I kissed my crush's brother.
Fae,
"What would you like to drink?" The waitress asked.
"Just a Sprite please." I said politely. Lucas asked me on a date to a pizzeria downtown. Although I haven't talked to Riley, I felt myself growing on Lucas as he was growing on me. I know I should be there for my best friend since I'm the only one she has besides her mom and dad. Our pizza pie came and my stomach growled causing Lucas to laugh his adorable laugh.
"That's not funny. Starving is not a joke." I scolded him while taking a slice. He rolled his eyes playfully.
"You know what's not a joke? The fake weave on your head." He replied. I gave him a look.
"My hair is natural Lucas Garcia. It's more natural than your hairline." I snapped. He laughed harder.
"Feisty. I like it." I couldn't help but smile a little. We sat and ate our pizza in silence.
"I like purple. How about you?" I asked Lucas. We were currently getting to know each other since we barely did.
"I like blue." I rolled my eyes. Every boy likes blue.
"What do you think about us?" He questioned.
"Us?" I asked. He nodded.
"I don't know. I like spending time with you though." I spoke honestly. He smiled and nodded.
I giggled and we continued walking.
Just Lucas and I.
