Riley ,
I plopped next to Taylor on the couch. We were currently at his house with Lucas and Fae. Kinda awkward sitting between your date and your 'crush'. Don't get me wrong, Taylor has the looks and the brains and he is everything a girl can wish for but he just isn't my dream man you know? I snuggled up into Taylor's side and sniffed him. He smelled good even when he just wore a t shirt and some joggers. We all had our socks on and no, no feet stank. We were watching Annabelle which scared the living fuck out of me already. The light was off and Taylor and Lucas was enjoying while Fae and I just hid our face in our hands. I excused myself just to get a breathe of fresh air. I went on the front porch and breathed in the crisp winter air. My meltdowns weren't accruing as much with Taylor by my side. That's why I like him. He helps me calm down. Soon Lucas came outside and stood next to me.

"Pretty isn't it?" He asked speaking up.

"Huh?" I asked clearing confused.

"The moon. It's so far away, but if we focus on it, it seems so beautiful and up close." He finished. My eyes stared at his perfect jawline, completely in awe of what he said.

"Wow, that's a beautiful thing to say Lucas." I said. He smiled.

Stop being so damn cute please.

"That quote reminded me of you. I never saw you up close till now." He said focusing on the moon. I blushed.

"Thanks."

"Anytime Riley." He walked back inside and I let out a breathe I didn't know I was keeping in.

God help my soul.

💨

"Come on, it wasn't even that scary." Taylor told me. I frowned.

"Yes it was. You're manly so you might not get it." He rolled his eyes playfully and leaned in to kiss me good night. I blushed and waved goodbye as I got into my house. I jumped when I heard loud voices greet me in.

"SOMEBODY GOT A KISS." My mother shouted coming up to me. I groaned mentally.

"Mom." I whined.

"Was his lips soft? Did he use protection? Did you suck his wee wee? You better not Riley Johnson. That's very nasty." She gushers. I laughed at her fanatic of questions.

"Yes his lips are soft, no we didn't have sex, I don't suck wee wee, and I know mother." I answered in one quick breathe. She smiled and kissed my forehead.

"Good. Get ready for bed sweetheart." She said nicely.

"Yes ma." I answered and walked up the stairs.

💨

Lucas,

I sat alone in the gym. I was thinking of Riley. I know it's weird to think of your girlfriends best friend but she kinda intrigued me. Little things made me think of her. Soon when I was about to get up, Fae came in the gym.

"Hey, what you doing here?" I asked putting on my boxing gloves.

"I just wanna see my best boyfriend in the world punch something." She replied sitting down a bench. I told her to record me and that's what she did. I punched so hard, the guy holding it had to let go.

After I was ready and clean to leave, I put on some new clothes and told Fae to get ready for our date later on. I gave her a kiss and hopped in my car.

💨

"Your hair looks fine, get in the damn car." I told Fae. Taking five thousand hours to fix her damn hair. She huffed and got in.

I drove off and went on the highway.

Fae,

We arrived to the movie theaters and Lucas beat me to paying the tickets. I bought us some candy and two large popcorn and went inside.

"We just watched a scary movie at home to go see another one." I mumbled. He chuckled and threw some popcorn in his mouth. I snuggled up next to him and sighed happily.

A movie date is not bad after all.
