"Where did they all come from?" Daniel said.

"They must've seen us." Sam replied.

"Rose, stay in the middle. We'll protect you." Steve assured.

She only shook with fright.

One of the skeletons walked closer to them, seemingly bigger than the others. It waved its sword at them, clinking its bones. Then, it pointed its sword directly at Steve.

"I... I think he wants me." Steve said.

"Over my dead body." Sam said, putting himself in front of Steve.

The skeleton swung his sword, which connected with Sam's armor. He was knocked aside by the impact, leaving Steve vulnerable.

"Sam!' He cried, but it was answered by the thrust of the hilt of a sword into his head. The impact knocked him out.

Steve groaned.

"Notch, he's awake."

"Steve. Steve, are you okay?"

He sat up, his eyes still closed.

"I... I think so..."

"Drink some water. Clear your head." Brittany put a bottle in his hand, which he swigged down. Wiping his mouth, he opened his eyes. It was almost pitch dark, except for the lava source glowing nearby. He could see they were surrounded in iron bars, with an iron door and a nether brick floor. He couldn't see much else, but he thought he could faintly see that they were in a room.

"Where are we?"

"In a stupid jail cell. The skeletons forced us in here."

"Ow... My head..." He grabbed the sides of his head.

"Are you sure you're okay?"

Slowly, he nodded.

"We need to get out of here. I think we've overstayed our welcome." Daniel said.

"How?" Sam asked. He stood up.

"Once again, it's up to the girl to help the guys." Brittany sighed. She pulled out the last of her TNT. "They took our weapons and tools, but not much else."

"Alright, but that's going to be loud."

"Can we even block ourselves from the blast? It's pretty small in here." Steve mentioned.

Brittany's eyes drooped to the floor.

"I didn't think of that." She sighed.

"So we're stuck here." Daniel said.

"For as long as they're holding us." Sam said, resting his head on the iron bars.

"Notch knows how long." Daniel said and sighed.

Rose sat in the corner, shaking with fright. Only then did Sam notice her.

"Hey, hey, take it easy. It's alright, Rose. We're safe."

"For the time being, yes." Steve said.

"Look at how close we were to finding that tear." Brittany brought up.

She thought about it.

"We made it to the Nether, we searched for the Ghast, we battled some wither skeletons. We're here. All we have to do is find a way of escape." Sam said, encouraging her.

"Assuming we last that long." Steve said.

"Lighten up." Sam ordered him. Steve just looked away, not shocked at the response. Sam turned back to Rose.
