Five Years

. I slowly made my way through the hallway. A steady bustle seem to come from the kitchen and I frown.

I saw Jungshin busy preparing the table as Jonghyun hyung scowled on his tablet. Frustration leaking out of his pores.

Hyung Yonghwa look up from drinking his coffee and smiled at me.

" hey how are you Min?" He asked and I smiled.

" Care to tell what happened last night?" Jungshin asked as he placed a plate in front of me. Yonghwa hyung gave me a carton of banana milk.

" just a dream." I said quietly.

" more like a nightmare really." Jonghyun hyung said as he place his tablet down on the table. " you were shouting and crying."

"Hmmm."

They look at me but I just shrugged.

Ive been having those kind of dreams lately. In every dream, I would see Heiress walking away from me. Sometimes, shes alone and angry but most times, she was walking away with someone else.

It started when I received the invitation to her graduation party. Shes twenty now. Graduating with a degree in management. Ive never felt so proud of her. I knew shes smart.

I stalked her FB account like a lunatic. Shes been updating a lot nowadays from her favorite teddy bear to her shoes. Then she posted her grades and I almost clap at her achievements.

Finally.

Ive been waiting for this to happen. Whenever we went abroad to perform I silently dedicate my performance to her.

All those years that I forbid myself to even ask for news from her mom. But ajumma is a great lady. Every accomplishments that Heiress has I know. She sent me pictures of her report card. Pictures of her projects. Her thesis.

Then along came the invite. She sent me a picture of her in graduation clothes. It was taken at a studio and she has a thin make up on. It emphasized her features. Making her eye appear so alive that it almost pierced my soul.

I missed her so much.

For the first time in five years I wrote a thank you letter to ajumma. Thanking her for letting me be a part of Heiress' growing up years. I told her I'll come.

" Saeng il chukkayo!" Yonghwa smiled at a grinning Juniel. CNBLUE just won the #1 spot for the song Cant Stop and they were celebrating at FNC.

" yah Juniel wheres my hug?" Jonghyun playfully tease her.

Juniel took two steps to Jonghyun and hug him. Jonghyun tap her back. Jungshin envelope the both of them in his embrace as Minhyuk looks on.

FT Islands Hongki and NFlying's KwangJin were there to congratulate them.

" youre so quiet." Yonghwa said as he put an arm around Minhyuks shoulders.

" just thinking of something hyung." He replied and Yonghwas eyebrow arch in question.

"Youve been quiet eversince you had that dream. Do you want to talk about it?" He asked

Minhyuk just shake his head. What would he say? He didnt tell his brothers about Heiress.

When they started as artist, the first thing that their manager warn them is not to have a girlfriend. They concentrated on their musical career. He saw how Yonghwa fought his feelings towards his friend Shin Hye. All four of them knew how he pined for ShinHye. Even when they were shooting Heartstrings, he tried to show indifference. He was witness to their blossoming love for each other. Shin Hye is a great cook and she would bring food on the set of HS. Yonghwa always get to taste it first. He just look at the two made love with their eyes on each other. But not one of them would act on it. Shin Hyes career was on the rise and Yonghwa was taking care of them.

Soon after theyd have a mutual understanding but Shin Hye has too much commitment and they have to part ways.

" Im just here if you want to talk. " he told him and he nodded.

He went to his room in the dorm and lie down slowly. It has been a long day. Everyone was happy and he is too. But he cannot help but feel anxious. Heiress graduation is on Saturday. They dont have any guestings but he dont how to tell Yonghwa.

He was drowsy so he close his eyes. Suddenly, the bed dip and he open his eyes to see Jungshin looking at him with a naughty grin.

" yah! Why did you wake me up?" He asked in mock anger.

" I know your secret. " he said his eyes crinkled in concealed mirth.

" bwoh?! Shin ah stop teasing me!" He playfully swat his shoulder.

" I know. You wanted to go here." He put his hand in the air holding a pink and silver envelope.

" where did you get that. Give me that envelope!" He tried taking it from his hand but he quickly stand up and ran away.

" Jungshin!" They run around the room like kids laughing.

Jungshin flopped down on his bed and gave up. Keeping his hand down so he can take the envelope.

" How did you find this?" He asked panting. He sink into the side of the bed to catch his breath.

"Duh. I was cleaning two days ago. It fell behind your desk." He answered and look teasingly at him.

" waeo?" He ask as he put it inside his drawer.

" who is she? Come on Hyukkie tell me." He pouted like a kid.

His eyebrows shut up. Should he tell him?

" ahhh. We swear we will never have secrets right? I'll tell hyung...." He made a show of standing up and leaving.

" aaargh! Arraseo! But Shin ah you promise not to tell hyung about this." He said his eyes squinting. Jungshin laugh at him. He tried to look intimidating but with his small eyes, he just look cute.

He told him about how he met Heiress and what happened before they left for Japan to train.

" whoah! Thats a long time ago!" Jungshin gushed.

He just nod his head.

" you must really like her to still be affected like this."

" I love her Shin."

It was his turn to exclaim.
" bwoh?!"

They look at each other.
" wae? Do I look like I cant fall in love." He ask.

" No I thought you only cared about your drums. I didnt know you are a man." He said in mock seriousness.

Minhyuk groaned.

Then Jungshin laugh wholeheartedly. " wow! You really are serious. Dont worry I'll help you ask hyung."

Minhyuk look unbelievably at Jungshin. " wae? You dont want me to accompany you?"

Then he pouted. " ahh hyung please....chebal I want to go there too."

He took a deep breath before he nod. Hed just allow Shin to accompany him.

Minhyuk became excited. He will be seeing Heiress soon!
