" Heiress Min is on the phone." Her mom is standing outside her room calling her but she didnt answer.

Its been three days since her boutique opening. Minhyuk didnt arrive as he promised. He was delayed. He said that the plane has some technical difficulties but she didnt believe him.

She saw all the pictures that the girl tagged Min with and she cant believe his excuses. It clearly shows that he was with her and probably woke up late.

Today on news Korea, it showed that his album has reached the number one spot. He even surpassed his hyungs achievement for his first album.

A lot of people congratulated him on his sns account and her tablet keeps on alerting her of the notifications.

She felt so small and irrelevant compared to him. He is a star. She is just a small designer. All her insecurities flared up. Maybe Min was right all along, asking her to forget him.

All her resentment from the first time until the  opening that he didnt show up surfaced and she became sad. It clearly showed that she isnt as important as he is to her. He is so out of her league. Why would he even consider her is beyond her understanding now. Its like she woke up and saw clarity for the first time. Everything was clear to her. Minhyuk is a star. She is just another ordinary girl.

After a while her mom stopped knocking. Heiress felt so worn out. She hasnt slept the past two days, she just cried and cried. She close her eyes and eventually fell asleep from exhaustion.

It was dark when she opened her eyes. Her window is still open. She forgot to close it earlier so she got up and approach her window.

" youre up.." She heard his voice. She turn around to find Minhyuk sitting on her couch. She didnt answer him instead she went to her bathroom.

She splash cold water to her face and brush her teeth. Its a good thing that she has a lot of stocks so she didnt have to go to her boutique everyday. It would be bad business for her to be absent when shes needed at her own boutique. When she went out of the bathroom, she saw a steaming bowl of ramen on her bedside table.

" Youre oemma said you havent eaten anything. " Minhyuk said.

" Why do you care?" She asked him tiredly.

Minhyuk took a deep breath. " You know that I care a lot Heiress. Im sorry I wasnt able to attend the opening..."

" It doesnt matter.." She cut his speech.

" It does matter Heiress. I know your mad at me. Im really sorry. The flight was delayed. "

" You dont have to explain Min. I saw all the pictures. You were with the famous drummer."

Minhyuk look at her face closely but only the lamp was illuminating her room. He didnt open the lights because he knew that it will hurt her eyes. Now he blames himself for not turning it on when she went in the bathroom.

" Youre jealous? Shes just a friend Heiress." He said quietly he approach her and tried to hold her hand but Heiress flinched and step away from him. He stopped.

" Shes the right one for you." She said slowly. Heiress look away from him. " shes famous. So are you. When I was younger, I always thought that if you knew that I love you, that will be enough."

" It is enough for me."

Heiress continue as if she didnt hear him. " so when I told you and you told me to forget, I thought maybe, he was right. I need to be like him. I set a goal for myself so I can at least be someone that you are proud off. But looking at all your achievements, I cant even compare!" Heiress shoulders shake as her tears fell.
