D' Day

She woke up that morning feeling a different vibe in the air.
She opened her eyes just as her mom opened door.

" hey baby your awake." She said as she entered the room. Her mom proceeded to open her curtains to let the early morning light to flood into her room.
" how do you feel?" She asked, " are you excited?"

" mom.." She whined and burrowed in her pillow inhaling its powder scent.

She felt the bed dip as her mom sat next to her on the bed. Her mom pushed the hairs away from her face and kiss her cheeks. " Im so happy for you!" She gushed. Then she look around her room. " Soon you'll gonna leave this room."

" mom!" She shrieked. " what do you mean? Are you throwing me out of the house?" She asked in mock indignation.

" of course not you silly girl." Her mom answered, her eyes twinkling in merriment. " I meant youd be working and then, getting a boyfriend... getting married.."

Heiress sat up and hug her mom fiercely. " I loveyou mommy." She said as she squeeze her mom tightly.

" I love you too baby." She smoothed her hair. " you should probably get ready. Guests will be arriving soon."

" aww. Its too early. Cant we stay like this for a few minutes more?" She asked and giggled in delight when her mom nod hee head.

They stayed cuddled up like that for a few more minutes. Then her mom reluctantly stand up to let her get ready for the day. She has a lot of surprises for her darling baby girl and she hope she likes it.

Meanwhile in Cheom Damdong

" Shin - ah stop that!" Minhyuk growled as Jungshin took out another jacket and throw it on his bed. He throw his hands up in the air as a sign of defeat when Jungshin rummage through his closet again.

" you have to look cool but perfect." Jungshin said his voice muffled by the clothes in front of him.

" you dont have to create this mess you know!" Minhyuk said exasperated at his brother friend.

" have you asked for a leave?" Jungshin throw the question over his shoulder.

Minhyuk grimaced remembering Yonghwa's teasing. Last night he finally found the courage to ask. His hyung asked a lot of questions in the end teasing him over his crush. His face burned at the memory.

" yeah." He answered. " he didnt stop teasing me though."

Jungshins muffled laughter was heard and he threw a pillow at him. Dang his brothers! They all take delight in constantly teasing him. First it was about his OC ways in making sure everything was color coded in his closet. Then it extended to his habit of picking up small bits of trash around their dorm. Now..now they are throwing princess' name in the list.

" tada!" Jungshin exclaimed and pulled out an old jean jacket. He remember purchasing that while they were training in Japan five years ago.

" ok." He said sounding a bit  skeptic.

Jungshin frowned at him. " dont look like that." He said ," remember she is young. Her taste  pertains to the newest trend."

" so?" His eyebrows rose. He didnt get what is Jungshin's point.

" Youre so laid back. Your clothes spoke of a time before her." Jungshin said. At his non comprehension, he said bluntly, " youre too old for her!"

Minhyuk's mouth fell open. Then he closed it and look out his window. Princess is twenty right now. He is what, five years older than her?

Jungshin tap his shoulders. " dont worry, Im sure she likes you for you, though being 'in' helps a lot too."

He grumbled as he went to the bathroom. Jungshin shouted at him to hurry as he picked out clothes for him and he needs to try all of them.

Can this day get any better?
