Shane's POV
"Just let me see her for 5 minutes. That's all I ask."
"I'm sorry Mr. brown. But I can't let you do that. The only people that can see her right now are her parents."
"I'm her boyfriend. 5 minutes is all I ask." I passed my hand through my hair in frustration.
"I can't do that Mr. Brown"
"Can you at least tell me if she's okay."
The doctor sighed.
"Look Mr. Brown. I'm not supposed to give you this information yet. But I think you need to know."
His voice was serious. I mentally prepared myself to what he was about to say.
"Emily Smith is currently in a coma."
My heart stopped. My vision went blurry. Tears surrounded my eyes. I found it hard to breathe.
"W-what? "
"Mr. Brown. Im very sorry."
"A c-coma?"
"Yes Mr. Brown. I'll come back later to inform you about Emily smith." The doctor walked away.
That's when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see Elizabeth. She hugged me and That's when those tears that were trapped, escaped. I looked up to see Tyler in the back with a face of guilt. Elizabeth let go and Tyler came up to me and hugged me as well.
"You're here?" I said between sobs.
"I'm always here for you bro." Tyler said pulling away.
We sat down in silence for at least an hour. But it was comfortable silence. Elizabeth got a call.
"Hello?"
"Slow down, Zachary"
"What!?"
"A-are you sure? She might just be-"
"Call?! Are you saying-"
"Do you have any idea where?" She said passing her fingers through her hair. I could tell she was trying to keep it together.
"Yeah. Of course. I'll be there."
She hang up.
"What happened?" I asked
"Caroline got kid-kidnapped by Clyde's friends. For revenge."
"Kidnapped?!" Tyler and me said at the same time.
My twin sister got kidnapped. And my girlfriend is in a Coma. Great.
She nodded. Her eyes were filled with tears but she held them back.
"What did Zach say?" I said. Tears filling my eyes just the same as Elizabeth's.
"He said he got a call. He didn't tell me anything else. Just that to meet him outside his house." She said grabbing her purse.
