I don't understand the point of makeup. Why do girls think that to impress people, they have to basically look like a completely different person. All of the girls in my grade wear makeup and do their hair in perfect little curls, but I don't like that. I mean, I like to do my hair and wear cute clothes, but not like every other girl. Even my friends are obsessed with eyeliner and mascara and lipstick, and they want to wear crop tops and bikinis and booty shorts. I guess that's just not me.

"Why are always locked up in your room reading, Dax?" Brock came into Daxton's room. "Let's go ride motor bikes or... Or play outside on the trampoline. You've been so boring lately." The fourteen year old whined.

"Sorry. I've... Just been busy reading." Daxton smiled. "Let's go outside."

"Sweet! There's my little brother!" Brock patted Daxton's back.

"Yeah." Daxton laughed. "I guess so."
