Chapter Three
Sadie POV
Waking up to the sound of birds chirping, the waves crashing on the shore, and the wind blowing in the air is how I wish I could wake up every morning. This is exactly how my morning started.
I woke up in my sweater from last night. I guess I never took it off. Now it smelt like Justin from all the hugging we did. I had underwear on, but because the sweater is so big; it looks like I'm not wearing anything underneath.
I open the doors to my balcony and put my arms on top of the railing, looking out at the water. People were already out, getting ready for whatever was to come for the day. After a few minutes, I decided to get ready for my boating day.
I choose my pink push-up top and white bottom bathing suit. I put on a pair of high-waisted shorts and a crop top to match. For my hair, well, I don't have to do much. I have the perfect dirty blond, straight, long hair from my mom. When we lived in Cali, we went the beach a lot to tan and swim. So we both have the beach-y type hair.
All I had to do was brush my hair and then leave it alone. Since we are going on the boat today, I decided no make-up. I usually don't put on a lot of make-up on anyway.
I took one of my beach bags and threw in my book I am currently reading, sun screen, a towel, goggles, my underwater camera, and my phone. I took my sunglasses off my night stand and put them on my head.
I put my bag over my shoulder and was ready to go.
"Where are you going today? Your father and I are going hiking and wanted to invite you and Brandon along." Mom asked when I was downstairs.
"Um, actually I'm going boating with Justin and a few other people to the cliff." I said. I started packing some food I would need.
My Mom came over and helped me pack. "Oh, I think Brandon is doing the same thing too. I guess we will all see you at dinner."
We finished packing in silence. I love my Mom, but sometimes she can be pushy and want you to do the things that she does. I always find a way out though.
I heard footsteps coming from the stairs. My brother immerged from the stair case and sat at the island chairs.
"Good morning, sweetie." Mom said cheerfully.
"Good morning Ma. Hey sis, I think we are heading out soon, so I'd get to the boat." Brandon explains while heading out the door himself.
I kiss Mom on the cheek and grab both of my bags and head out.
--------------
"I can't wait to get there already!" Bo says. We both start to laugh.
We have been on the boat for twenty minutes and are very anxious to get to the cliff.
When I got on the boat this morning, Bo was already getting herself situated. We both sat in the front complaining the whole time.
Justin, Brandon, and Lindsey sat in the back while Erik was driving the boat. Erik is Justin's best guy friend since forever. They have been through thick and thin when it comes to guy things.
"Just shut up, would you! We're going to be there in ten minutes!" Erik yells.
Bo groans and then lies back down. I put my shades back on top of my head and grab my camera from my bag.
Right now is the perfect time to take a picture. The waves are crashing up against the shore, while kids are jumping over the big waves and making sand castles. I quickly snap about five times and then look at them.
