*TERRIBLY OLD* Rise Of The Cats #1 Dreams

Chapter 14

Lili sat at the border sobbing then she got up and ran into the forest, she scented a Big-fang and her fur rose on her back she decided to run back towards the human city hoping maybe Acorn would be there. She nosed her way through some ferns and came to a big fence.

She jumped on top of it and saw it was a tom named Curt's yard, he was an annoying tom who always liked to put his nose where it didn't belong, and if her day wasn't bad enough already Curt came walking into the yard and saw her. "Great..." She muttered to herself.

"Heyo!" The tom meowed. "Looks like them pretty she-cats are coming back to me."

"Cut it!" Lili hissed.

He smiled. "Oh feisty." He pointed with his tail towards his cat door. "Wanna come in?"

To Curt's surprise Lili spat again. "Never! I already have a mate weirdo!" Curt looked shocked at her words and she continued along the fence. Lili eventually came to a small yard, it was Acorns but she appeared not to be home. Lili sighed and walked back into the forest.

Swift woke up and heard commotion in the clearing, she peeked out the nursery to see a Big-fang in the clearing, all the cats were hiding seeing if it would just walk away, the Big-fang got closer and Swift gasped in fright, the Big-fang's head lifted at the sound and he caught sight of Swift, she was frozen and fear and the
Big-fang lunged at her.

There was a flash of orange fur as Sky jumped in front of Swift the Big-fang grabbed his scruff and lumbered out of the camp, Dusk let out a wail, she had been taking care of the kits intill Lili got better and she had grown close to them. Swift started sobbing. "Where's mommy?" She asked, Dusk stared at her and said quietly,

"Your mother left." At those words Swift burst out crying

"Why did she leave us?"

Dusk shook her head. "Fade pushed her out because she was a danger."

Swift screamed. "NO SHE WASN'T!" And she ran into the nursery curling up in a corner and letting sleep wash over her.

Sky struggled in the Big-fang's grip but the dog-like creature wouldn't let go they just kept walking, and walking, and walking. Intill they came to a small cave. Inside the cave came some growls and some squeaks and Sky's eyes widened in fear.

Lili was walking through the forest when there was a flash of fur and she looked around remembering when she had saw a flash of fur in the human city as well. She plunged into a dream, or a vision since she was awake, and she saw her parents staring at her with sorrow in their eyes.

Then the world started zooming past her and she found herself in the Forest cats camp there she saw Swift, Raven, and Strike, then she found herself at a cave and she saw many Big-fang's cornering Sky against the wall, and then her vision was over and she was in the real world again.

Then all of the sudden she was tackled and swiped out blindly at her attacker it let her up and she looked to see three foxes cornering her. One jumped on her and bit her side making a huge gash, she turned and clawed its nose and it squealed. One of the other foxes scratched her ear, she yowled in agony and clawed its throat and it immediately dropped to the ground dead.

The second fox struck out a paw aiming for Lili's eyes but missed and made a deep cut above her eyes instead. Lili's vision turned red as blood seeped from the wound and from all the blood loss she was starting to get dizzy Lili saw tan fur and the fox screeched, running back into the forest the first fox followed and Lili slumped to the ground. "Are you okay?" A voice said but to Lili it sounded too distant to tell who it was, her vision turned black as she lay bleeding out on the ground.

Fade walked around his den still bothered by the strange words the white tom had said and decided to try to figure out what the prophecy meant. "The fragile flower you must keep safe..." He kept muttering. Then it came to him. Lili! He ran out of his den and yowled. "Apple, Dusk, Viper, Swipe, Ice, and Twist hurry no time to explain come with me!
