2 Moons later
Lili trotted through the forest, Fade leading the small patrol of cats. She looked around, her pelt was ragged and her eyes dull, the forest wasn't safe anymore. The rouges had been attacking over and over again and all Lili could do was help fight.
"Wait." Prick said sniffing the ground. Lili, Fade, and Fox all turned to look. Paw-prints covered the muddy ground and the cats glanced around expecting someone to jump out of the ferns in attack.
Fade perked his ears and waited, before they continued along the trail. Then there was a rumble and a crowd of cats burst through the undergrowth stopping in front of the puny patrol.
A voice boomed out but nobody in the patrol could tell who it was coming from. "Get out of our territory!"
Prick howled in anger. "Your territory? This is ours!"
"Not anymore!" The voice growled. "And I think we outnumber you."
"Don't be such cowards and show your true leader!' Fade howled, rage sparking in his eyes. Lili nodded in agreement while rogue cat's snarled.
"Fine." a voice sounded."I will reveal myself."
The cats parted and Lili gasped and started trembling.
She knew who this cat was, and the cat seemed to have the same idea about her.
End of book one...
