Chapter 8

Lili and Acorn were walking down the side walk, while Lili was telling her about what happened in the forest two Moons ago. "Then they gave me back Swift and I ran as fast as I could to my house" Lili finished, close to tears.

"Oh, there there Lili" she said like a mother "I have some good news! Now do you want to hear it or not" Lili nodded and Acorn started again. "Do you remember that gruff she-cat named April that used to hang around? The one we couldn't believe such a grumpy cat had such a cheerful name?" Lili nodded again "well she and Fleet are having kits! You know she will be over protective of them.. I'm worried she might hurt her human when they take away the kits..."

Lili gasped "T-take away the kits? What do you m-mean?"

Acorn looked surprised "You mean you've never seen humans sell kits to different human?"

"No!" Shouted Lili trembling. She started running and went straight towards her house

"Wait!" cried Acorn "No! Come back!" But Lili didn't even twitch a whisker as she kept running, and running.

Lili ran in her house and looked for her kits. "Kits? Kits! My dear babies please answer" she yowled fear in her voice, she heard a muffled mrrow and ran to a small carrier humans used for moving pets. Lili looked in to see all her kits huddled in the corner of the human contraption. "What happened my sweets!" She asked

"Once you left for your walk the humans came and put us in this-this thingy" Strike complained as she said that the humans came in the room with two strange humans one was a kit and one was the kits mother. The little human kit saw Strike and squealed pointing at the contraption Lili's kits were trapped in. Lili's human opened the door of the contraption and pulled Strike out who squealed to be put down "Help mommy help!" She squeaked. Lili snarled and struck out a paw and when claw met flesh the human screamed.

The human dropped Strike though and she ran but the human grabbed Lili by the collar around her neck and dragged her shrieking into the other room.

OK guys so I usually don't do two chapters at the same time but I haven't posted in a while so.. Here is Chapter 7 and 8! Comment what you think might happen the Lili and her kits!
