Chapter 15: Sick

Choi Jonghoon's POV

I've arrived at Hongki's apartment. I've tried to bring Wanhye with me but she doesn't want to.

How can I help Hongki?

I knock his door and no one opens it. And again, I knock it. A bit louder. But still, no one open it.

I can't wait anymore because I feel something is wrong. My heart feel very uneasy. I give Wanhye a call.

"Hey. I need your help. Do you still remember Hongki's apartment's password?"

"Oh, Jonghoon-ah. Why?"

"He is not opening this door. No matter how many times I knock his door."

"Are you sure? Maybe he is not at home? Have you tried to call him before?"

"Of course I did. And he's not answering his damn phone. Now, just give me the password." I blurt out some words out of frustration. My heart really feel uneasy.

Wanhye gave me the password and I thanked her and hang up the phone. I try the password and thankfully Hongki doesn't change the password.

As I open the door, his house is in a total mess. Hongki had never been in a mess before. He was the most clean person in our band.

His house is dark with the curtains closing all the windows. With all the foods' wrapings all over the place and his clothes too. And the smells. Urgh.

Dude, I've never seen him like this before. This is not Lee Hongki I knew. This must be because of Wanhye leaving him.

I let out a long sigh.

I walk to his room and give a few knocks on the door. He doesn't open it but he asks me to go away instead.

Wait, he doesn't know who am I, right? Duh.

I turn his door knob and thankfully he doesn't lock his door.

The moment I open up the door, I was shocked. Like VERY shocked.

"HONGKI-AH! Why are you like this? Dude, are you okay?" I am worried sick.

"I said GO AWAY." He throw a pillow towards me but the pillow can't even reach me.

"Hey. Are you okay? Dude, you're cold! Let's go see the doctor." I try to pull him but he don't even budge an inch.

"I'm not sick, okay? I'm good. Look." He tried to stand up but then he fall down on his knees. He can't even stand on his two feet.

"See??? You can't even stand up! I DON'T CARE. LET'S GO TO THE HOSPITAL. YOU ARE TOTALLY SICK." I put his hand on my shoulder and help him to stand up. Eventhough he insisted to not go, but I don't even care because he is freezing cold.

-time skips-

The doctor said that he didn't eat for like a week. And he is sick. He need to rest more at the hospital to make him stable like before.

I sit beside his bed and look at his face. He has become thin. Extremely thin. And his face is pale like a vampire which hasn't been sucking blood for like a year. I've never seen him like this before. How I wish Wanhye can explain everything to him and he will never be sick like this.

*knock knock*

It must be them.

"Come in." I say.

All of my bandmates come in with additional one annoying person. Hyuna.

"Choi Hyuna. Why the hell are you here?" I ask her.

"I come to pay a visit. I want to visit my yeobo~" She make her cute-but-gross face.

"Look. He is no one to you. And you don't have any right to call him yeobo. He. Has. A. Fcking. Girlfriend. Don't you even get it?"

"Why do you even care? It has been a long time since the last time I met him. Plus, I heard that the bitch has ran away. That means, she has lose." She makes her mischievous face.

She is a true devil. Seriously.

"You know what? She never loses. And she is not a bitch. Wanhye always been in Hongki's heart. He loves her so damn much. And so do Wanhye."

"Then, why the hell the bitch ran away? Doesn't that means that she don't love him anymore?"

"NOONA, STOP IT!" Minhwan shouts but not too loud.

Hyuna just ignore him and make way to Hongki's hospital bed.

"Minhwan, why did you bring her with you?" I ask him as we are already outside. I pull him.

"Look, I've tried to stop her but she insisted to go. I can't do anything. She is just so stubborn."

"Yeah, just like you." I mumble.

"Hyung, I can clearly hear it."

Suddenly, I hear footsteps from behind. I take a look and I'm totally shocked. I thought it was the nurse.

I thought you don't wanna come? Heh.

Choi Minhwan's POV

JINJJA? ARE MY EYES TRICKING ME OR SOMETHING?

"Hey.... uh.. guys? Still remember me?"

"Why are you here? I thought you don't wanna come?" Jonghoon hyung give her a smirk.

"Hyung, we should be thankful that she has come. Hongki hyung will be wide awake and healthy!" I say out of happiness.

"You know what? She is the one who tried to run away from Hongki hyung and she, at last, come when Hongki hyung is already at the fcking hospital? Doesn't she know how much that LEE HONG KI suffers when she is gone without telling her whereabouts to hyung?" Suddenly Jaejin hyung comes from the room and blurt out some nonsense things. I think? Or is it true? I don't even know. Huh.

I make a confused look. I am so outdated with Wanhye noona. Yes, I know she went to Malaysia for work but I don't really know the details. I mean about Hongki hyung and Wanhye noona's relationship.

"Look, I don't even know he became like this when I left him." Wanhye noona tries to save herself.

"Yeah right. If you explain to him EVERYTHING, he will never be sick and will never be lying on that damn hospital bed like a corpse!" Jaejin hyung is really angry. Yup, Hongki hyung is Jaejin hyung's closest friend. No. More to siblings. His love to Hongki is more than he love us-his other bandmates.

"Jaejin-ah. Stop it. Wanhye must have her own reason why she's doing this." Jonghoon hyung tries to calm him down.

"Well, you better have a good one." Jaejin hyung just walk away from here.

"Noona, I'm sorry on Jaejin hyung's behalf." I say.

"No no. I deserve that so much. Haha." Noona fake a smile.

As we're about walk into the room, Seunghyun walks out of the room.

"Noona?!" Seunghyun shocks.

"Hehe. Hi." Wanhye noona gives him a smile.

"When did you arrive here? I thought you were in Malaysia?"

"I've excused myself to come back to Korea last four days."

"Kaja. Let's go in." I invite her to come inside. Suddenly, Seunghyun stops me.

"I don't think so you wanna come in in this state." He whispers at me.

"What do you mean?" I ask. Confused.

"Your noona, of course. I'm sick of what she's doing. Because of that I'm going out." He makes his grossed face.

"Uhhh... But Wanhye noona must meet Hongki hyung. If not today, when will she meet him?" I say.

"Haih... It's up to you." Seunghyun walk away.
