Chapter 3: Trust

While I'm preparing something to eat, I saw her face was like deep red and I found it cute. I can't resist but it's too cute. It seems that she doesn't notice that I've been staring at her for about 5 minutes as she was busy hiding her red cheeks from being visible. Stop staring and start cooking you lovefool. Aigooo..

As I start cooking, she came.

"Let me help you" she said without looking at me with slightly blushed face.

"No no no... Please have a sit. You're my gue-"

"Just shut your mouth and tell me what to do okay? I feel bad for burdening you. I'm even staying at your house without paying a rent. So, please let me pay you with doing the house chores okay?" she cuts me off while wearing an apron.

She can't tie her apron, so I help her. And again, her blushed face. Hahahah... You're so cute WanHye-ah.

We cook a plate of tteobokki, do some experiments on adding things to make a new dish and made an apple juice. Thank god that the experiment become successful. We name the dish, Friendship dish. Lol. What a name.

As we finished eating, WanHye keep all the leftovers into the fridge while me? Do the dishes.

"WanHye-ah, can I ask you something?" I ask her as we're watching a movie, Werewolf Boy.

"Hmm? What is it?"

"I hope you'll not mad at me when I ask you this."

Before she answers I continue my words.

"Do you trust me?"

"What do you mean?" Her expression is kinda confused.

"I mean... Do you trust me as your not-so-new friend? Do you believe me?"

"Why are you asking me this?" She's clearly confused.

"Well, I would like to be your bestfriend. I mean, I saw you on my first day of school but you were always alone. At the canteen? Classroom? Lab? Alone. It doesn't seems that you're ugly, because you're obviously pretty. Plus, you're not even a nerd. No offense, but I'm saying you the truth."

She's out of words.

"It's not that I'm pity over you because you have no friends but I'm sincere. I want to be your bestest friend ever. You're like the mysterious girl on my first day of school. Well, I saved you from Sistar on my second day and we became closer. Well, I want to know about you more." I speak out sincerely. Well, not about my feeling over WanHye. It's too soon to tell her.

"Well... Actually.... Me too. I mean, I want to be friend with you but I've never had a guy as my friend. So, I was a bit awkward. But when you become my friend this whole week, I know that I can trust you. Well, I hope so." She mumble the last sentence but I can hear it.

I was relieved when she doesn't reject me who wants to be her bestfriend. I want to gain her trust more. I want to be her bestest friend she've ever had. I don't want to let her down and I will NOT let her down.

"You can trust me WanHye. I promise you." I speak out while looking into her eyes. Smiling. Me? WanHye? Well, we're both smiling.

We watch the movie until we fall asleep together on the sofa. Her head's on my shoulder and my head's on her head.

I wake up with WanHye still on my shoulder. I put her head on my lap so she can sleep more comfortable. The clock on the wall ticks quite loud as the house was silent. The clock shows it's 02:00 PM.

I look down into her face.

She's naturally beautiful. Her lips are naturally light pink. Her white skin and her nearly perfect face is what all the girls want. I don't know why all the kids at school doesn't want to be her friend. Maybe she's too shy. But I still don't understand why she said that she would rather live at school rather than her own house? She even ran out from her house. Family problem? I think so.
