"What am I exactly?" Severus asked Celestia as he looked deep into her eyes.
"Yer a wizard Severus!" Celestia smirked. He pulled her even closer to him, "I mean what am I to you, how would you describe us?" Celestia looked at him, "I need some time Severus, it's all happening so quick. I mean today was just our first date and..."
"God, I' m such an idiot. It's just..."Celestia looked at him, "Listen listen I can tell you one thing though, you are definitely more than a friend to me." He smiled and hugged her.
"Goooood EVEning!" they bolted apart.
"Headmistress!!" they said together. Minerva was staring at both of them. Severus walked towards his room and entered, he slowly closed the door behind him. Minerva was watching his actions, she smiled to herself then turned to look at Celestia, "We need to talk, dear."
Celestia nodded then moved aside so Minerva could enter her room. Celestia walked in behind her and gestured the headmistress towards the sofa. Minerva sat down, "Your grandmother spoke to me before she left for France. She seemed pretty worried for you, She wanted me to knock some sense into you." Minerva laughed but Celestia, she had a blank expression, She shifted slightly, "What is this about?"
Minerva looked at her and smirked, "My dear it's about our very special potion's master and you." Celestia opened her mouth but Minerva raised her hand and stopped her from doing so, "No need to explain to me anything, all I would say is your grandmother has a completely different picture of Severus. I have known him since he was a child, Severus had to do many things, choose many unwarrantable ways. But he is not what the world sees him to be. Your grandmother was rather distraught she thought I would side with her but how can I come in the way of love. If you choose to be with Severus then I will most definitely be happy about it. But dear there are some things you should know about him, he is a callous man, he had a very atrocious past, a very heartbreaking one. All I want to say is if you don't share those feelings for him please don't lead him on. Breaking a heart is awful, but breaking an almost healing heart can devastate the person. I don't think I need to tell you this, you are a very kind person after all I have known you since you were a wee baby." Celestia lowered her head she was feeling very uneasy. "I didn't mean to lecture you I just wanted to clear a few things, also it's much easier to talk to you than him. He would have denied having any feelings for you even before I would have asked him. Our potions master is one of a kind." She smiled. Celestia's mind was working and processing everything that she had just told her.
"My, look at the time. Have a good night Celestia." With that Minerva left. Celestia was speechless she got up and moved to the kitchen took out a bottle of firewhiskey she walked back, she leaned back on the sofa. She was definitely going to be having a sleepless night.
Severus walked towards his study he sat on the chair and looked through his letters, sorting them and tossing them in the bin. Since the war he had been receiving lot of letters most of them were from witches who were so very impressed with his persona and his gallant role in the War. Suddenly a letter caught his attention. He opened it.
Dearest Severus,
Haven't heard from you at all, how are you my dear friend? I hope everything is going well. You haven't replied to any of my previous letters, which is not very unusual where you're concerned. But now let me get to the point. My son and your godson that is if you haven't forgotten us completely has made a decision, a rather important one that is to get married. He wants the family to meet his 'prospective spouse'. So I have planned a get together for a few of my close friends and family. I want you to get your ass out of that dungeon of yours and attend! It's an order! And please feel free to bring a date. So this coming Saturday please keep yourself free and do attend.
