CHAPTER#7

We took Sofie for a check up after I came home from my wonderful jog.

From what the doctors say, she was doing excellent and I was happy for that, but I need her to fully recover. I don't want to lose my little sister.

Then I heard my phone ring while we were eating at some restaurant that mom find out, something where we all cam choose a food that we would like.

It was Railey, I looked at my parents and asked for their permission to be excused and head outside.

I swipe my phone to answer it.

"Hey, what's up?" I started.

"Where are you?" I chuckled.

"We just met earlier, Rai. I'm having lunch with my family inthis restaurant called..." I looked upward where the sign is posted. 'Choose?' I whispered to myself.

What kind of name is that?
"...Choose..." I akwardly continued.

"Oh that one, that restaurant has the most wierdest name, but the most delicious food here." Well I agree.

"So what's really up, Rai?"

"Oh I was just gonna remind you, I'm gonna start the experiment slash project tomorrow so uhmm can you go to our school, well like your old school. I'm doing it there."

"Uhmm sure...what time?"

"5 straight, after our school, Ms. Lucky. You're so lucky that you have weeks off just like..."

"Cam? Yeah, Railey...I know..."

I looked back inside the restaurant and dad was signing me to come back.

"Look I gotta go...See you tomorrow, okay?"

"Thanks, your the best." I chuckled and got my phone in my pocket and went back inside enjoying the rest of my day with my family.

We went back home as soon S we finished lunch.

I nearly forgot...to give Sofie, Cile's letter. I quickly took it from my room and went to Sofie's.

I knocked and went in. "Hey kiddo, there's a special delivery from a guy name Cile Young." I told her with a hint of tease in it.

She immediately jumped right off bed and rushed towards me I rose my arm where I was holding the paper.

"Woah there, Sofie. We just got home from the hospital. What's with the letter." she rolled her eyes.

"Give it Bri..." she tries getting it from me.

"Why would I, you should tell me first are you guys are like together?" she stopped jumping and sat down at the bed.

"That's what I'm finding out, Bri, and he told me he will finally say what his real feelings for me are and it's in that letter." I slowly put down my arms and handed it to her.

"Sorry..." Guilt within me people.

Then she just suddenly laughs." Got yah!" She took the letter and opened it. I gave out a fake laugh and sat beside her.

"But it's true, he's telling me what his feelings are for me..." she repeated.

"Well know...open it."

"What if he did..." she looked at me worried.

"Then it would be great, I know you liked him, before you turned a seven yourself. What are you being so worried about?"

"Maybe I can't return the love." she stated. "What? What do you mean?"

"That years after I gonna die or maybe now... God has a plan, Bri and neither of us knows it." I hugged her.

"That's why you should have a list and enjoy the moments. You're right neither of us knows it, but what I know is that we can cherish every moment that we still have."

"Now open that letter, Sof." she looked at it and then at me. I nodded and she opened it carefully.

"Oh my god, Bri...he...he likes me." she looked at me and I saw her blush like a lipstick.

"Then you should never let him go, Sof."

"Never let go who?" We looked at the door and mom was there.

"Cile, he told me that he likes me." Mom went to us and sat between us.

"What's with the Young family with the two of you?" We looked at each other and smiled.

"Nothing, mom. I have nothing much with Cam now mom." I informed her she knew that years ago.

"okay...dear, and with you?" she pointed to Sofie.

"Mom their like best friends since like she started school. They look cute and perfect for each other." I can see Sofie's face and she was flattered and a bit happy to see Cile.

Then suddenly we heard our doorbell rang. Dad can get it and we continued chatting.

"Girls, there's a young gentlemen waiting for a beautiful lady named Sofie." We all looked at Sofie and she stood up.

"How do I look guys?" she turned around and fixed her beanie.

Mom stood up and kissed her cheek. "Just like what your sister said you two knew each other for a very long time."

"Just be yourself, Sofie. He liked you because your true to yourself." I added.

"Thanks guys." she headed downstairs and went down after her taking a peak at the both of them.

"Mr. Fontanilla, can I rake Sofie to the park." Cile asks dad.

"Sure kiddo. Just bring her back before dinner, deal?"

"Deal sir." he chuckled. They went ahead and Sofie looked back I winked and smiled at her.

I was about to close the door when somebody called my name. I went out and it was Reid.

"Hey!" I greeted.

"Hey Elle, come I'm going to show you something, bring your camera."

"Why?"

"Just go get it and meet me in the park." Park...too?
It was already 5:35 as I check the watch.

I took my digital camera and immediately went downstairs.

"Mom, Dad, I'm going to the park!" I shouted. "Too?" mom asks.

"Yeah, I'm meeting Reid there."

"Okay then just go back with your sister before dinner." I nodded and head to the park just blocks away from our street.

I was walking around the park looking for Reid. "Reid, where are you, for crying out loud."

My eye sight just became black. Shit am I being kidnapped or something?

"Just follow me." I let out a sigh. "Reid...what are you doing?"

"Just follow me." I did.

"What's with the blindfold, Reid." I heard him laugh and just grabbed both of my arms.

"Here. You can take it off now." I slowly took it off and infront of me was the most beautiful scenery I've seen.

It was orange, purple, pink all together. It was the sunset I've never seen since forever.

"Oh my god, Reid." I looked at him and he was smiling right at me.

"Thank you!" I added. I rushed towards him and gave him a hug.

As we were hugging I looked around and it was Cam he was there with a girl. Wrong or right I know it's Zea.

and what will Railey make Bri do in her project. Was she really the only one who participated?

Happy New Year guys...here in the Philippines 1 hour more and it's 2016.
