Opposite Lives

CHAPTER #10

I stood in front of my former school. Nothing much has change it's the same old school I went to.

Bridgeway Academy. Many things happened in this school for me many memories were made.

"Bri! There you are!" Railey came running towards me from the entrance of the school.

"I'm here right on time." Rai looked at her watch and then at me. "You're right, come We'll go to the sanctuary." She started walking.

"What sanctuary?" I stopped and thought of a sanctuary in this school

"From our former Playground to this beautiful butterfly sanctuary slash garden." She stopped as well and looked at me.

"They took out the playground? Now that sucks." We continued walking until we arrived at this beautiful entrance.

"On second thought, maybe this is the modern playground. This looks beautiful." Railey opened the gate and she let me enter first.

"Thanks, I thought of this whole thing."

"What?"

"You heard me... I came out with this test to the students and this is the result." I looked around and stopped at a bench and sat down.

"So what's the project? Can we start?"

"Uhm...were waiting for someone."

"Who?"

"Just wait and see."

We waited like about 20 minutes for that person to come, whoever that person is.

"Where is he, that idiot..." Railey whispered to herself.

"He?" she nodded.

Suddenly we heard someone opened the gate. "Is he there?" I asked impatiently.

"Yeap." Railey slowly replied. I quickly stood and looked around.

"Who is...it..." I can't believe what I'm seeing.

"Bri?"

"Cam!" We said together.

"Railey!" Railey said her own name and raised her hand. We both looked at her and crossed our arms.

"What is he doing here?" I pointed at him.

"Well the both of you were totally free so...look I thought you wouldn't like to join and besides I thought that this project will help you both." she explained.

"In what way, Railey?" Cam asks this time.

"Yah in what way, Rai?" I added. I saw Cam looking at me.

"That...you to need hold it up together and besides you two already agreed and I really need this it's due next week."

"Next week? The week that I have to go back, Rai?"

"Yeah and the both of you seem to be free everyday so yah next week. Please, Bri." she begged.

"Well I agreed to it already, I help you Railey." Cam tells her and just smiles at me. I'm doing this freaking favor with this guy? Oh help me God.

"Alright...but what is this project of yours?"

"Oh Thank you! I owe you big time."

"Yeah you do."

"Oh yah so my project is this." she handed us papers, Cam and I took it.

I looked at the paper and flip it around there was nothing in it just a blank piece of white paper.

"What are we..." Cam and I said in chorus. I stopped and let Cam finish it.

"What are we gonna do with this?" he asked. Exactly what's on my mind.

The two of you are going to write you will do in this whole week until next week wednesday and your going to give it to me on thursday next week."

"...and then?" I asked.

"Just do it, Ms.Curious." I raised both of my hands and stepped backward. "Alright."

"...and guys when I mean you did in those days I literally mean every single precious moment and you have to be honest with it. okay."

"Cool." he replied. Cool? How in the world would this be cool? It's like a whole record of you life for past few weeks.

"Okay uhmm...Railey I need to tell you something."

"Sure..." she held out her hand and I took it. We went a little bit of distance away from Cam.

"What is it?" she asked. I bit my lower lip.

""My family is going home with me next week, everyone."

"So that means?"

"I think I won't be able to finish your poject cause I'm going back earlier than them to find house for us."

"Don't worry you can still finish it there...just send it to me by email." I smiled with great relief I really thought I can't do this.

"So...uhmm Railey, is that all cause I need to go. Zea's waiting for me." Zea...again...

"Oh yah sure, I'll just text the both of you to check your progress."

"Aright see you guys." He opened the gate then looked back. "Bye Bri."

"Uhmm...Bye." I replied shyly. I can't believe I'm acting like this around him. I was quite normally stable when I haven't seen him for a long time now it's back.

It's all coming back.
